This guy and his 4runner just makes stuff look so easy. This 4runner is an absolute beast but so is this driver.
Andy Ham Thanks Andy really appreciate the nice comment! 😉👍
Excellent driving.
Thank you! 👍
As your driving why don't you explain what mode your driving in thanks
I'm a jeep guy, but I do like a 4 runner! Excellent driving skills. You've inspired new 4 runner owners...maybe do a tutorial on how to pick lines and why. Good stuff👍👍👍👍👍
JL's Jk Thanks so much! Really appreciate it.
I absolutely love walking a rock step picking lines. Not sure how I could explain it?
After doing enough of them you know exactly what the truck is going to do and can pick the best filming spot. Some times the best/easiest lines aren’t that much fun. Lol
You have the best 4Runner trail videos, and you drive all over from Florida! So cool. I just put a deposit on a 2022 ORP, will have it in 45 days or so. Can't wait to get started. Keep posting these videos!
Thank you and congrats on the new rig! You’re going to love it!
Did u have a lift and larger tires at this point in time ?
Yes
Not too bad with an almost stock 4Runner ORP! I'm on the fence right now between a 4Runner ORP and a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon JLU. I'd be switching from an F150, so I a little worried about the power in the 4Runner after a few mods. Are there any other full size truck owners out there who switched to a 4Runner that could tell me their experience?
For off-roading the 4Runner and Jeep are going to be the way to go. Most trails are skinny and they are litter and more nimble. If your plan on towing get a full size truck. I tow a cars all the time with the 4Runner it does the job but is definitely working. I also have a Ram diesel dually the towing power and fuel mileage blow the 4Runner away but I’m not running trails in it either lol

Both you and Jason Koertge motivated me in the last week, I just picked up a 2019 4Runner TRD Off-Road Premium, have already put a full RCI Offroad Skid Package on it, and an ICON Stage 3 Lift. Also looking at getting a full vinyl wrap to save the paint while looking for those nifty trails in those areas of PA you've described.
Thanks again!
Sensei Operator That’s Awesome!!!
In my opinion you have the best truck for what we do!!! But I might be a little bias😂 What color is your’s and what color are you going to wrap it?
@@jimerinrose6235
Black currently, Wrapping it in Black Vinyl. However my Vinyl guy is telling me that Gloss will fade over time, Matte will fade however the color will remain the same. Going to do Ceramic Tint the whole way around, DashCam and of course that nifty snorkel.
@@gs8259 Yea it's going to look Bad Ass!!! Love to see it when it's done.
How long did it took you to run the whole fins and things?
Hard to remember it was a while ago. I’d guess 2-3 hours
Great video! You helped ease the willies; I'm heading down in September and that trial is on the list. What under armor have you added if any? Thanks again for the post. This was really helpful -- Great driving!
Thank you! You’ll have a blast. I have full steel skids and sliders
I have a full mods video on my channel

is your 4runner lifted? it looks good)))
Yarl Wise thanks yes 3inch
It doesn’t look like you air down. No compressor?
I have a compressor on most trails I run 20-24lbs if it’s a easy trail and I’m lazy 27lbs just so I don’t have to air back up. Don’t remember what psi I ran that day.
@@jimerinrose6235 lol I thought so , either way, your rig seems to have no issue doing it
Amazing vids, keep up great job
Lucky You Thanks really appreciate it!!
I have a 4Runner TRD OR as a rental and have taken it off road. You do some insane stuff! You drove up a freakin wall!😨
chrisridebike8 Thanks! Get that rental off-road while you have it! 😂
Jim/Erin Rose i have. I’ve used low range, crawl control and the diff lock. Every time I get nervous, the truck doesn’t even break a sweat. It’s way more capable than I am.
chrisridebike8 that’s awesome you thinking about buying one?
Jim/Erin Rose definitely in a couple years once I come back from living in Japan
chrisridebike8 👍
Love the snorkel! What brand is that? Notice any drop in MPG?
Thanks! It's a TJM I have a video on my channel of the install. No drop in MPG.
Thanks
Love the stance. What suspension mods does it have?
Thanks! 3inch Old Man Emu 285/70/17 tires
Is it raised or stock?
3inch lift
What was the tire psi?
I usually run 20-24psi
@@jimerinrose6235 thank you! I'm going moab next month :) any good suggestion tips?
Do experience steering wobble with the ko2?
intelbrain Y
No, but I make sure the red dot 🔴 on each tire is lined up with the valve stem. Helps a lot!!!
Did you pressure down your tires? If so how low did you go? Great video!
Yes 24-25psi Thanks!
Great filming guys, so impressed of the 5th gen capability
Bill Waterhouse Thanks!!!!
Fine looking truck! Love the snorkel little less bulky then the arb. Fins and things is such a fun place, well moab in general. I took my stock trail premium there last year then went lifted and 285s this year and already put in vacation for next year to go back again. Love that place. Great video man. Keep up the good fight.🤘🤛
Josh
Thanks! 😉👍
Didn’t really need the snorkel much in Moab 😂 it does get used a lot in Florida.😬
Yea 285/3inch lift is perfect for a 5th gen. You still get a great ride and can pretty much tackle any terrain you need too. We are planning another trip back there too! It’s addicting!!!!!
