This storyline should DEFINITELY be adapted into the next major Marvel movie event after Infinity Gauntlet. I mean, come on, it can't be a coincidence that not one, not two, but THREE of the Illuminati are getting their own movies in Phase 3, pretty much making up the entire roster safe for Namor and all the characters Marvel doesn't own (who can easily replaced with other characters from the Cinematic Universe).
Marvel got Namor back. Feige said if a Namor movie were to be made it'll be by Marvel, not Universal.
It should be made by fox since Namar is a mutant, and a member of the x men.

Black Panther is the member that got the worst treatment.
He got divorced, He got banished by his sister due to his alliance with Namor, his father and all the other ancestors have abandoned him, his rivalry with Namor has just elevated to an unforgivable state, His people didn't trust him. Now in the Time Runs Out arc, the UN basically sold Wakanda to the Cabal in exchange for destroying other planets to save earth basically destroying Wakanda and now his sister might be dead and he is on the hunt by shield. At this point, I don't think anyone is redeemable at this point

Woah this storyline is actually amazing, the Heroes cannot stop a threat so they just accept it, you never see that in comics and may I just say Namor is a fucking badass the first ever Anti Hero is now a savior and yet a destroyer of Earths. I understand Captain America and what he stood for but there was just no way out of this.

I hate how folks ignore that Black Panther in addition to being Wakandan royal blood, physically on par with Captain America, he is also as smart as men like Tony Stark, Hank Pym, Dr. Doom, and Reed Richards.
Thank you! I like the video but damn! would it have killed him to maybe give T'Challa more credit? Heck the schism between him and Namor is one of the emotional cores of this series and his science is what is helping them with their endeavours.
He's not as smart as either of them. Reed Richards is the smartest, Tony is the second smartest, then Banner, Hank etc and Black Panther is no. 10. Even Riri Williams is smarter than him. The list is given on Marvel's Official Website.

That is AMAZING storyline! I fell off after World War Hulk and just got back into it my geekness and this is excellent. Being forced to choose when there is no other options left. The fact that the only thing that was a practical option for everyone destroyed itself is magnificent. Does the after effects of the storyline continue?

i so hate you and your moral compass steve rogers!.. well i don't actually hate it, it's just too high and mighty sometimes and it annoys me that he can't even see that these guys had no choice, the smartest minds can't even come up with a solution and 8 hours prep would have been enough normally for them.. they had to save 616, it's their home, saving all it's inhabitants, including the life of mr supreme boy scout who thanks them by hunting them down.. it frustrates me that he can't see that it's not always black and white..
I hate that anyone can write a story like this and think that it is anything other then a face/heel turn. You have it backwards, Captain America was right... he is the hero, find a way that doesn't involve killing millions or billions... Namor is one of the worst villains ever now, and Cap is still a hero

The funny part is I'm thinking that would make this more of the same, I want heroes to pull of a victory, but I would like it not to be a dues ex machinima but a well written story where the hero doesn't need to compromise himself into being a villain

I actually liked the fact that the Great Society actually had second thoughts about destroying a world. They may be a parody/homage/rip-off/joke/whatever of the Justice League, but at least they were pretty noble. If it wasn't for Namor, the world would've died, but then, maybe not. If the Great Society was anything like the Justice League, they could've worked together and could've easily thought of a plan to save both worlds. But, there needs to be drama, and the story sure as hell was pretty intense.

After Spider-Verse ended, they sent Superior back to his time and erased his memory of Spider-Verse. That's how they were able to interact with each other.

He has as much right to live as all the others and so he will fight for it, however, I would also place bombs around Earth so that if things don't go as planned they can blow up the Earth saving the universe.

I think it's because they were more obsessed by keeping Earth intact rather then it's population. Captain America argued that there were always alternatives if you thought outside the box, this was one which they didn't think off because they weren't looking for an alternative
Blowing up "your" Earth would be horrific but as long as the population survived, wouldn't that be the much lesser of 2 evils, the other being blowing up other Earths.

if the story needed a 4 year old human child without powers to beat superman the author would make the child win in whatever way that could be believable but it never would actually be possible.

Great vid but man! I wish you had at least mentioned the schism between T'Challa and Namor (Phoenix powers and the Necropolis), the fact that the Cabal have now destroyed Wakanda with Namor's help. I mean not spoil it, but at least highlight some of those key character moments. Other than that, great vid. I love this event soooo much. Jonathan Hickman really knows how to write large-scale events without sacrificing story or character development.

Love this story. This is the type of drama that Civil war was missing. as in there is no clear cut right or wrong answers with this "everything Dies" story.Iron Man the Civil war villain, is a completely different beast than Iron man the New Avenger villain. There are harsh consequences for siding with either Cap or Iron Man. Bottom line, do you want live a short life as a saint, or a long life as a monster?

I find it weird how none of them thought about having characters like Thor, Sentry, Hyperion, and Hulk move the planets apart. Each one of them has done it on his own before.
