Be careful ordering the flooring in “ installments “. You have to watch dye lots so the colors blend properly. Sometimes different dye lots have noticeable differences in brightness and tone. I learned that from a bad experience.
I found out doing my floor. The retailer warned me about that...to get the whole thing at once so that colors would match. Also to open all the boxes and mix them up so that the grains would be random and not make patterns.
Yes, be careful of installments for the flooring. We did that and the company we got it from, had different shipments to the big box store(Lowes) prior to shipping to us and we had two different colors … said it was the same dye lot number, but the dates on the boxes were different. You picked the floor & paint that I liked. Yeah!! 60+ years ago I helped my parents build our house. A company put the frame up. Daddy did most of the rest. I was only 12 but I was his gopher helper. When we put down the oak floors I would bring in the bundles & lay out the flooring. Daddy would come along and tap it together & nail it down. Both my parents are dead but I still live in the house. It has a lot of memories. Yours will too.
I agree with Brandi on the lighter gray/beige color throughout. The flooring goes well with both the masonry heater and the wall color. Makes it easier when you start pulling in furniture and decor😊! Brandi your better off using a shop cleaner vac to get the dust and then wet mopping ( with a damp mop not a soaking wet mop ) the floor. You might have to do it a couple of times as the dust gets everywhere and when you sweep a lot of it goes in the air and resettles back on the floors. I used to wet mop everyday when we first moved into our place before we covered the floors it helps get rid of it all. Love the colours your going with they will look great.
Hi I’m new to the channel and now I see why a lot of folks talk about it! I’ve been seeing the echo flow from Arms Family Channel… I definitely could have used this after Ian!! We are concerning on buying one in case we get hit again. We were able thank goodness to rent a generator and used it for three weeks. Gas was in such a shortage that someone stoled gas from our car and even took the gas cap!! Anyhow we lost a bunch of stuff inside and out and I’m still cleaning and trying to get the smell of mold out. But we are alive and I’m so grateful for that. So many have lost everything. My hubby and I could certainly use extra $ since he is our sole income bc I’m disabled and waiting to have back surgery. It’s been very difficult getting through this but watching all of my farm/homestead channels gives me some escape from reality! Lol MamaRedmond 💕

I like the flooring and wall paint color you all picked. We have a similar rustic look flooring at work, but it has an occasional shoe or boot prints too. May I make a suggestion is that you put down a layer of thin foam, then the flooring. It cushions the floor making it more comfortable to walk on and won't be uneven when done right. Unless you like a hardwood feeling floor. We've had our flooring for two years and four months with moderate traffic from employees and customers and it still looks great. That was nice of your "crazy" neighbor to give you three chickens. 😁
I am at a friends in Tennessee, they have over 100 free range birds. Today we sorted several dozen eggs. They also have some Bard Rocks. I don’t remember all the different varieties. Some have names. Today they started crowing @ 4:30 AM !
I like the lighter color too for the walls, and a darker color floor is the best, having kids and animals Having throw rugs then to wall to wall carpet as a farm family. We did wall to wall rug and wish we had done wood tile with insulation in it. live and learn.
We live close to Table Rock Lake and we got 3 & 1/2 inches of rain and my nephew that lives at Crane, Mo got 4 inches. We sure needed it and was so happy to get it.

Dutch, I work in the flooring industry in Australia and personally, glue the vinyl planks down otherwise you might find it will move around too much which will allow dust etc to get into the joins and will compromise the product. Just a tip from a 24 year plus flooring man. Looks good colour wise though.
I just had a pipe burst in my home (over a month ago). Going with LVP and ordered my rugs already. Rugs in, flooring going in this Friday. Can't wait to get my furniture back in!

Do the darker grey on the wall behind the fire and the lighter grey on the other walls and yes flooring is the right one for the stonework

The floor sample on the right has more red tones! I like the left one, but it’s your choice!
We bought the rigid core LVT also, it’s wonderful. We put in every room too, including bathrooms, laundry room, kitchen and closets.
