Just to share information, not bash, but it's pronounce "gee-new." Named after the guy who created them, Harley Gheen. And this may just be a Cajun thing but we call it a "low-rans." Sweet boat though! I can't wait to replace this 2.5 with my home made cav plate and jack plate with an (ideally for me) 8hp on my 13' lowsider. I bought it a couple months ago and I'm absolutely in love!!!
I have a 13' lowsider, a much smaller version and with a light load it's VERY stable. When loaded down I can't be completely careless but everyone that gets in it is impressed. It's a bit of a wet ride if it's choppy but I get over 10mph with a 2.5hp!

How did you mount the fish finder on the transom? I would really like to see how you did that. I have a Lt10.
