To you folks who feel like you've got the right to comment on how she looks: The woman is in her late 60s. She looks fantastic! This need you have to want women to look like they're '17 forever' is THE ROOT of female body-shaming in this culture. It is pure misogyny. When women have value in Western culture beyond 'whether or not you'd fuck them,' the world will be a much better place. (PS - You wouldn't do this to a male performer in his 60s, though most of them are fat and bald.)
I think she has been fukin awesome at every single stage of her career .. still find her just as mesmerising today as I did when I caught the bus into town after school in 1979 to buy Stop Your Sobbing… like in the words of the Pretenders song ‘ POPSTAR ‘ ..
