What's the general rule for what party members I should bring to each mission seeing as I don't know what heroes I "need" on each mission ? I'm only at the start of the game, but I saw that if I put someone in training, they have to wait 2 mission. I mean, what If I can't complete the second mission without the hero I put in training ?
You can cancel training so if you need to pull someone out to bring on a mission you can, don't worry about that. My standard team setup for all of Act 1 is Mordred, Dindraine, Ector and then either Balin or Balan depending on which alignment I'm going usually. Balin is probably a bit stronger in the early game of the too because of his traps being very strong in the early game. Lanval works as a replacement for Balan as well.
