I actually had that chest on Boudicea. She also had a 1/3 less ap movement piece. I also gave her the extra ap from challenge rewards and a teleport ring. That was pretty strong. Tristan had two pieces of gear that lowered movement ap by 1/3 so he was able to move 3 times normal, but unfortunately unlike other vanguards, he doesn’t get the perk on his skill for an additional ap on kill which hurts imo. Using them with a Sage which has a lower cooldown for inspire and/or additional damage due to gear also greatly enhanced them. I was cruising through hard with them easily. Just start very hard and I’m on act 12. I’ve been struggling a little, but it’s starting to get a little easier as my characters get better gear and more skills. I also found the ice wall skill useful for holding enemies back as a side note.
i got a build at late act3 that i get 3 ap and 2 mp for each kill, i dont suffer oportunity atacks, the game became too easy suddenly, some encounters i have finished in turn 1 playing only with the vanguard

Yea, with good loot rng you can really trivialize huge chunks of the game
