I like how Rhaenyra wants to hold Daemon's hand and still tells him "don't try to leave me", because she knows that even though she is powerful she needs him, she wants him with her, her fear of him turning against her was real, but it's good that Husbuncle was loyal to her.

@@anonymousnation5235 Yeah, I'm confused as to why the Targaryens never actively tried to cultivate a stronger relationship with House Stark if the whole point of them conquering Westeros was to fight the Long Night. The Starks were an ancient bloodline that had ruled as royalty for almost eight millennia, potently magical ancestry traceable back to the Age of Heroes and had fought the White Walkers before. Why would you NOT seek a match with them, especially when you consider the last result of a Valyrian-First Man relationship (Bloodraven, son of Aegon IV and Melissa Blackwood and born with very potent greenseer abilities).
@@samalvey8168 perhaps neither Targeryeans nor Starks coming after were interested in prophecies. Only Rhaeghar Targeryean understood the message and stupidly destroyed his family in the process.
I like how Rhaenyra changes her posture during the scene, she starts with a tense and confrontational look, but then after Daemon's words she changes to a look of calm, sobbing, relief and even love

He didn't even try to kiss her, he turned his back on her to face the army behind him (and she didn't turn away, she lowered her head before he approached her). And I mean, this isn't really the moment to kiss, right? Everyone's looking at them 😅😂

@@RudyJuarez hmm nah I don't think so. He wanted his head to touch her's. That's their thing: they like to touch their foreheads with the head, Daemon did the same thing in episode 1 after Rhaenyra returned to Dragonstone after discovering Arrax's body (the wing) and Luc's cloak.
And why would this moment foreshadow the current state of their marital relationship? They're not divorced (you can't undo a Valyrian wedding), and he literally just swore fealty/loyalty to her. They ARE on the same page, but like I said, this isn't really the time to be intimate, the war is more important.
@@sydney33thomas imo this moment would have been perfect timing for a kiss, they haven't seen each other in ages and unsure what each one is feeling about the other and a kiss would have cast all doubt aside and for all to see. They've made love before on an open beach they don't really care who's around when showing love to one another. I agree touching heads is one of their things but that wasn't what I believe he was going for and I didn't say anything about a divorce, all I'm saying is they currently don't see eye to eye when it comes showing affection.

I know it was an improvised kiss by Emma, but let's be real: It was pointless, they don't even talk about it in ep 7 and 8. It's like nothing happen.
Becuse Rhaenyra felt lonely and Mysaria used it to try to be closer to her.
@@DarthKay093 I don't think Mysaria "used" Rhaenyra at that moment, maybe she was sincere, we don't know yet. But yes Emma literally confirmed that Rhaenyra only kissed her because she can't be alone lmao: _"I think she's very bad at being alone, and so she TENDS to find someone who will fill the VOID."_ Even Sara Hess (one of the show writers) basically said the same thing; that was a moment of vulnerability because she was able to say to Mysaria that she think Daemon had betrayed her and that she's really scared.
Cole, Harwin, Mysaria... all of them are nothing but Rhaenyra attempting to fill the void that Daemon leaves when he's not there for her.

Lots of people were mad about daemons arc but I liked it. He was always such a stubborn character the only one who could convince him to be loyal was himself and what better way to do that than turn his own mind against him.
EDIT: I wasn’t saying peoples anger was unwarranted but you guys also gotta understand they had less time to work with so obviously it’s gonna look rushed. They are saving budget for the next seasons.

Be real if the Daemon they introduced us would've known about the white walkers it still wouldn't have been enough to change his mind... That's how stubborn he is.
@@Hear.myvoice It’s not the white walkers that changes his mind it’s his attachment to his brother. I will say it would have been executed much better if Viserys was given more of a focus in the arc. But also I feel like a lot of people don’t realize that they had less time to actually execute the whole season they were cut 2 episodes which in these shows is A LOT of content

It doesn't matter what changed his mind because even in episode 2 Daemon says Viserys was a complete fool. His memory (and it doesn't matter how cute it is) wouldn't have changed him in 1 episode because that's what happened... All the other dreams were unsuccessful.

You only do that to people you look up to it’s his older brother you can’t just listen to dialogue “show don’t tell” is a phrase for a reason. Again I am with you in the opinion that they should have shied away from the whole prophecy story line but that was GRRMs decision.

This guy's issue seems to stay consistent across every universe. In one, he has to bow to his niece-wife, who is the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, and in another, he ends up bowing to his wife, who is the Queen of England. LOL!
I really like season 2 of House of the Dragon , but the pacing was so slow in my opinion . Overall I think the next season is going to be way better , because everything is moving so well rigth now 🔥🔥🔥🐲🐲🐲 .

i don’t know about you, but in that thumbnail daemon looks terribly much like wallace from wallace and gromit. it kind of ruins the whole schtick.
The writers and show runners ruined both these characters. Mainly by having them both do things that make no sense and making each episode contradict the one before it like the writers didn’t talk to eachother at all. And HBO you messed up by cutting the season short. This show had so much potential….
