He is the real reason why Ywach was defeated. Two instance that preceded to the defeat of the Almighty m. First one was healing Uryu and letting him defend his friends and the second and most important one, not revealing the vision he saw of Ywach being defeated by Ichigo , reasons why Ywach thought it was only a dream.
Is that why ywach said , " so that's not a dream " . I thought jugram tell ywach about his death and it turn out that it's the opposite huh🤔
Also i never realised that jugram actually help them to defeat ywach though consider how loyal he was , even killed his childhood friend
The back story tell us that he and bass b is on the quest to kill Yhwach. And jugram died revealing his sword engraved by bass b insignia.
He did indeed need to be powerful to catch Yhwach's attention and then gotten his position. More than that though and despite his blind loyalty, he sure had an epiphany and arranged for the escape many Quincies to the human world just before the war ended. His lady companion who carried out the evacuation is now the de facto leader of the Quincy remnants there. This is his true legacy.

Haschwalt wasn’t blindly loyal to Ywach . He is the real reason why Ywach was defeated in the first place.
Something that people gloss over is his monstrous level of durability. After Auswahlen, Gerard WITH MULTIPLE BUFFS was completely skeletonized. Meanwhile, Jugram was completely (physically) unscathed.
The auswahlen is inconsistent with how it works, like Nanana and Bazz b were fine albeit a bit fatigued after the holy selection

@@P0xal Yeah it's a hard feat to quantify as someone who replied to me stated, but I still feel like it's noteworthy to mention. Either it's based on reiatsu (which means Jugo is an absolute monster and has more reiatsu than Gerard), or it's based on durability, in which case Jugram is STILL a monster and is more durable than Gerard lol
Bazz B already had powers that were NOT given to him by Yhwach, so it makes sense that Auswahlen affected him differently. I don't really remember much about NaNaNa so can't say anything there, but yeah that's my two cents.
@@Saintsrow1824wdym dude bazz b and nanana hid from it so of course they weren’t hurt the ones who were hit by it legit were turned to skeletons like even bazz said if you hide from it you live but lose ur power, vollstan dig, Jugram got hit by the full force of it and was not turned to bone, and Gerard was turned to bone, Ichigos mother only lost her powers and from the looks of it the first Aushwalen had to be weaker because Masaki and Katagiri weren’t bone they only lost their powers so Masaki died to the hollow because she had no strength, or power, and Katagiri had a illness she died because she had no more strength, and from the Anime, Masaki when she was hit from the Auswahlen there was no beam or light hitting her so it had to be weaker because they were not turned to bone, and This can be proved, Ryuken took his wife’s body Katagiri and was opening up her body to take her heart, because her heart had the Auswahlen silver which comes from the Auswahlen and Ryuken used that silver to make a weapon to defeat Ywach and just like I said all the sternritter who are stronger than Masaki, and Katagiri were hit by the Auswahlen were turned to bone including a elite sternritter Gerard, but Jugram was still unscathed

I sincerely hope the anime expands even more on Jugram, not just as a character but in terms of his insane prowess. Oh also, Jugram isn't with a J, it's said with a Y. In Europe, the character j is said as a y. Which ofc Jugram is as he is German.

I feel like had YHWACH won he probably would have revived Jugram and most of the Sternritter to live in his new world free of death. As the new Soul King he has power over the cycle of souls. Even before that he revived his dead Schutzstaffel. And since Mayuri managed to revive the Quincy who died from the Auswahlen (in CFYOW), there's no reason to assume that YHWACH couldn't do the same.
There's always something about him, from the start he keeps his thoughts to himself even from ywach and bazz b. We can also see Ywach questionning him why keeps his silence, which he answered with a simple:"you won't listen either way", but their ambiguity with the scene. And as we go further with the manga, he doesn't take the initiative to attack. And the way he plays a huge role of helping Ishida at the end. It's like he's still in conflict with joining Ywach, but he can't just turn around being a hypocrite. There's also something with every conversation he has with Bazz B
I remember this theme from some other series that I called “second in command” theme, it consisted of:
-ridiculously powerful, probably can beat all but the leaders of the good guys
-almost if not never lose a fight in their entire series, until their last one.
-undying loyalty to their leader and the most trusted person for their leader in any way.

A small correction needs to be made. Jugram shouldnt/cant see Pernida's future since he's the left hand of the soul king and this is based on the fact that Yhwach couldn't see the right hand. Jugram can still win but the almighty will be usless.

Jugram only broke Zangetsu cuz Zangetsu was already weak at the moment... The anime expanded on the fact the zampakuto was heavily weakened cuz of the jail & yhwach

Not stronger, given that Yhwach thought that Jugram can't handle Yamamoto's Bankai. But he could win given his broken Schrift, especially if he had Freundschild.

You know, when I look back at Jugram as a character, I just realized that Ichigo never had any strong rivals within the Sternritters. Whenever Ichigo fought against a particular enemy group within Bleach, he would always have two main rivals within each group. In the Shinigami, his rivals were Byakuya and Kenpachi. In the Arrancar, his rivals were Ulquiorra and Grimmjow. Thus, if Kubo had more time, I’m pretty sure Jugram and Bazz-B would have become his direct rivals in the final arc.
Bazz-B seemed like he got more beef with Renji given their interaction to be honest. Bazz-B didn't really seem to care about Ichigo personally other than him being a Special War Threat that he wants to kill to take credit for.
Yes, Bazz-B being Ichigo's rival would be consistent with the characters you brought up. Since Ichigo's two rivals consist of one who is calm, cool and collected (mostly) (Byakuya, Ulquiorra and Haschwalth), and the other is a bloodthirsty, hotheaded, battle maniac (Kenpachi, Grimmjow and Bazz-B).
He's underrated because Kubo didn't give him a full fight, Gerard and Lille have better feats. By portrayal i agree he should be up there with Ichibei/Yamamoto.

Because not matter can defeat him. Maybe ichibei and Yhwach. Even Ishida couldn’t. Ichigo vs Haschwalt would have been an interesting one but the balance is a bad matchup for Ichigo because it favors Haschwalt in that fight.
Jugram is definitely in the top 3 in the Wandenreich, but I think Gerard hard-counters his ability. The Balance can turn all the misfortune that befalls Jugram against his opponent, but suffering damage is what fuels Gerard. If the battle goes on too long, Jugram will have fed Gerard too much power and will not be able to stop him anymore.
That said, if he has knowledge of how to end Gerard by destroying his "core" (the quincy zeichen made of blood), then he can win.
Unless the misfortune includes Gerard's medallion breaking, which would've ended his existence.

Jugram is definitely underrated. I still don't see him being able to beat Lille or maybe even Gerard. Lille was just too broken and had several hax like regeneration, teleportation, immortality, intangibility, bullets that ignore durability, and can immobilize opponents. Jugram could definitely use the balance to redirect damage on to Lille, but I don't think that would be enough. Lille got cut in half by his strongest move and didn't die so bullets definitely won't kill him.
I disagree, but it is definitely opinion vs opinion ya know. Like I suppose it boils down to literal perspective and thoughts on what was shown through the series.

@@lowdiffed If you want to go off of statements alone, I could just say Lille is the strongest because Yhwach made him the leader of the squad that's supposed to protect him and gave him a schrift first. Statements aren't enough you need to use feats as well and compare abilities.
Dodging Lille's attacks will be near impossible due to the fact that his gun is essentially a hitscan weapon in real life. It becomes even harder if he goes volstandig because he freezes his opponent in place. The balance only affects whatever is in Jugram's area of effect and Lille has flight so he could easily remove himself from the area of effect. There are so many other things Lille could do to win. Also killing Gerard is impossible due to the miracle.
@@lowdiffed it really would be a miracle if Gerard could beat him oh wait that's what his ability does the balance wouldn't really help him at all in his fight against him it would just make it more and more difficult

Gerard Valkirye is arguably the strongest being after Yhwach himself in the last arc. You don’t understand the power that Gerard has. Meaning Gerard can power up infinitely, but Balance is the ability akin to Sogyo no Kotowari, and they both imply to have a limit.
It’s as simple as that: Miracle has no limit, because it’s a Miracle, after all, to overcome everything. Balance is limited.
I personally disagree with 95% of what was said. It all comes down to personal interpretation tho I suppose due to the lack of seeing limits of either characters since they both lost the same way
@Heyjose As I’ve said, Gerard is THE heart of Soul King. The thing about both of them is that they have to have a limit on their abilities. And based on just that, it’s safe to assume, that the literal Heart of Soul King has a higher power ceiling. Haschwalth’s shield will either break, or be unable to tank “misfortune” and collapse, or ignore it. I am not saying that Haschwalth isn’t broken. I am saying that the top 1 is strongly implied to be Gerard, while Haschwalth and Lille seem to tie on second. Hell, it is even arguable, that Askin could develop immunity to “misfortune” and become completely unaffected by Haschwalth’s ability, so it’s not that easy. While with Gerard it’s safe assume, that eventually he will oneshot Askin.
I don’t know how is it for you, but for me personally the feeling that Haschwalth may lose with his ability, or be countered while Gerard doesn’t even provoke any thoughts on that is the indicator of how strong both are. And that’s Tite Kubo’s writing style.

You are very wrong mate. Haschwalt fight of all is the strongest sternritter in terms of combat it is even said in the manga that he is more adapt to combat fight than Yhwach himself. Gerard first of all would get sliced by Haschwalt easily as his swords can cut through anything and the balance would prevent Gerard from regenerating at his best over and over again he will balance the instance against Gerard.

@@P0xal something interesting about jugram is that not only he can see the future but he can null abilities because before yhwach almighty got buffed his almighty was stated and shown to only see the future and he says any ability he sees doesn't work against when fighting ichibei where his thoughts, mind, soul, and body were turned into an ant and he negated that ability as well as ichibei 100 nights ability so not only jugram can see the future he can negate abilities as well as being stated the strongest enemy in history with it considering his power were replaced with soul king yhwach at night, now he doesn't have the enhanced almighty that yhwach has where he not only can negate abilities but he can see infinite/countless futures and alter the fate and reality of those futures so jugram doesn't possess that level of almighty but he has the one I stated.

How was he unimportant lol he defeated BazzB, Uryu, fought the Royal guards of the zero division , shinigamis during the invasion , without a single scratch of blood on him from a fair encounter. The only reason he died was because he took Uryu’s injuries on him.

One Yama is stronger than haschwalth and Yhwach said why he didn’t see Yama as a threat. Yhwach specifically made the medallion to remove him of it why why do you think he lost the first war. Yama won via bankai and now he can’t because Yhwach had a plan while Yama didn’t. Also he was mentioned to be weak based on him becoming soft over the years and a weaker military compared to back them. Shunsui states the gotei 13 were stronger then now. Yhwach’s only option is to remove his bankai or have the almighty active which at that time he couldn’t yet.

@@P0xal how is it misfortune, if it happens to BOTH of them? It is considered a just occurrence. Hence it’s a balance so his shrift wouldn’t have any effect, they both would end up with the same wounds. Act 3 the sea of despair also is not a misfortune, draining both equally, therefore, the shrift wouldn’t do anything. Jugram is hard countered by Shunsui.

Well for starters ichigos sword was already damaged by Yhwach and bazz b only blocked a flexed Yamamoto. He didn’t even see three sternritter as a threat he only wanted Yhwach dead first. There is nothing special about ichigo that haschwalth can’t beat if you’re saying he can beat Gerard l. That’s not logic is it Gerard by the miracle will beat ichigo and if by your logic haschwalth beats Gerard then ichigo loses as well. 😊

@@P0xal But yes. Doesnt matter how much you love Aizen. He cant beat those 2 guys. We saw Aizen was beaten easily by Ichigo. And we saw how Jugram destroyed Ichigo's sword with ease. That Ichigo was the one to defeat our loved Aizen with ease. And was looking as a clown in front of Jugram Haschvalth.
Aizen has 0 abilities to kill Gerard either.

Second, If you watched the tybw anime you'd see ichigo's sword was heavily weakened from trying to break sternritter J's Jail & from his fight with yhwach... You'd easily see ichigo's blade looking beating up.
Third, ichigo's reiastu at that moment was faltering from the revelation Yhwach gave him about his mom which caused the reiastu flowing into his sword to be broken down.
Fourth, we know jugram is a master swords man which means he didn't just carelessly swing his sword and break it... He obviously hit it with precision, accuracy and with the knowledge it was already beating up.
So jugram destroying Zangetsu doesn't mean he's more powerful than Aizen
