Get new MTB pedals, stock ones are cheap looking and have little traction. Consider upgrading to 203mm front rotor, you can buy the same model Tektro rotors online and a 160-203 adapter for about $40. The larger rotor gives you greater stopping power and better heat dissipation. Leave the back at 180 as it’s a pita and not really needed. The existing brakes are very good, relatively light bike and 180mm rotors are well matched but 203 front is better. These are really good performance upgrades. If you like to pedal at high speed, you can also upgrade to a 11-28 freewheel.
Yep reason why now use the Corky Urban they fold into the bar end. Beside wipeouts you can break those handlebar mirror just riding as I like to go though narrow spaces where only a couple of inches of space and found mirror usually hits pole, or tree, or branches as they stick out to much and then they vibrate just riding as cheap mounting at least the one that clamp to handle bar. Yes you can push mirror not to stick out but then you end up blocking what you see. Maybe it’s because I’ve been riding motorcycles since ‘89 but I use mirrors that stick out like this guy and I’ve never broken one off. I find having the mirror stick out from the side gives you a much better view than something that goes under the bar (or on your helmet). The only negative I’d say for that type of mirror is it’s fiddly to get through a door, you can’t just walk straight through.

That bike sucks in comparison!! 48v 17.5 amp hour is a little kids bike or one for the wife. Lots of demand, no competition and a low price means you gotta wait. Wired should really raise their prices.
Good video. I have a Amp Rides Apex. Its similar to your Wired ebike. I wanted that bike. But I prefer 20x4 ebikes. The Hengtai gear hubbed moters have insane power. Mine is 1500w compared to your 1000w. I had to turn in my Suntour SP12. I weigh 200 pounds but it was rated for 220. It couldn't stay in place. Then it scratched the paint off my rear rack because it was leaning back too far. I heard Steve is thinking about making a 20x4 tire ebike. That would be awesome.
The wired Freedom has a claimed peak rating of 2,000 watts. TH-camr CitizenCycle unlocked his Wired Freedom and was seen in one of his video reading a peak output of 2,200+ watts. Typically the nominal wattage of a motor is around 2/3 of the peak wattage. So the Wired Freedom most likely produces around 1,500 (nominal) watts.
Be careful bud I swerved to miss a tire indention on a side road it had a hump 4 inches high on each side I slid on the stones and dust broke 7 ribs shoulder and shoulder blade ruptured my lungs hitting the two humps at 35 mph
You really go out of your way to find every single wired freedom video.... To say it needs a torque sensor... Don't buy the fucking bike if you don't like it..
I actually rode a prototype high power bike with a torque sensor and it was basically unrideable at high power. Every downstroke would cause the bike to surge violently, very unsettling. Imo the wattage PAS used by Wired is perfect for high powered bikes. This bike definitely does not need a torque sensor!
@@AKJJSIM some guy on a TH-cam video, he said his motor gave out and Steve was being helpful at first and he had sent his motor back but got back the same one and steve basically ghosted him afterwards

I can not wait to buy this thing … my goodness
Ridiculously fun
Its goes 40mph?
37ish mph
I'f I didn't know better, u sound like Vince Vaughn 😊
I have seen TH-camrs just use iPhone wired earbuds with a fuzzy pop filter that worked well. If you are filming with an iPhone that is.
Thanks for the advice
Yeah fat tires can get a little muddy in the hard terms, it's a weird feeling
Pre order shows it won’t be available until November smh. Guess I’ll buy an ecotric bison
If wired made a 4” model I’d definitely have to check it out. Until then I’m loving the freedom model. Thanks for the comments!
U should make a video of the amp rides apex no videos on it yet 😬
@@DriverJ-N I was thinking about making a video. You and a few other people suggested I make a video. I believe I will
I don’t care for the high BMX handlebars. When I get my Freedom, I’m going to set it up with MTB bars.
Would have been nice to actually see the speedometer, the display isn’t bright at all. Please increase the brightness for the next videos.
I only pretend to pedal when I'm passing by a chick 😎
Probably all of us lol. Thanks for the comment
You’ll never lose women chasing money but you’ll always lose money chasing women. You’re welcome
Be careful bud I swerved to miss a tire indention on a side road it had a hump 4 inches high on each side I slid on the stones and dust broke 7 ribs shoulder and shoulder blade ruptured my lungs hitting the two humps at 35 mph
by the looks of all these videos i belive all these bike are made at the same place and labled to the customers name preference for more money
This bike needs a torque sensor.
Definitely don’t disagree
You really go out of your way to find every single wired freedom video.... To say it needs a torque sensor... Don't buy the fucking bike if you don't like it..
.TH-cam needs a dork sensor for people like you..
there is another guy who says it pulls to the left all the time on every single video. trolls. probably paid trolls by rad. @@joeschmuckatelli3198
I heard the motors give out and Steve ghosts people afterwards
Interesting rumor because I have not heard anyone say that in any videos or social media. Where did you hear that?
@@AKJJSIM some guy on a TH-cam video, he said his motor gave out and Steve was being helpful at first and he had sent his motor back but got back the same one and steve basically ghosted him afterwards
Yeh you should go back to the wired seat and send me your C9 with shock seat post. I laugh at the thought of it arriving here and then you being as totally miserable in 20 minutes as I was with the wired seat, it totallly SUCKS, I’ve never had a seat my entire life that was as bad as the wired seat, it was not near as good as my new cloud 9, but still send it I’ll take the extra and mount it on my handle bars for my girl.
3:12 Cutting up thp of my toe.....(pins it in anger)😅
And I thought 27:37 was a fart relief port.....
Dying laughing

it's the seazun
Dude, the "stop" signs actually mean stop, not slow down to 15 and go! How long before you're dead?
First you ride with flip flops. Now you have crocks on.. Perhaps there's a man Bun to go with it?
Lol. No man bun
@@maxnoutdoors I've never seen a man bun... Who wasn't wearing crocks...or flip flops.. In all seriousness, what is your weight? I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on this bike I think..
@@joeschmuckatelli3198 I weigh 220
'Promosm'
screw electric
all garbage components!!
Really ? this or raev bullet gtx ?
the motor was designed in house by wired. tektro hydraulic 180 mm seems better than most at this price. drive train is better than most at this price point. hate on brother.
@@timothywarehime5956 sucker born every minute
@@jonpeterson4085thanks for clarifying
What a compelling argument.
Please put in the links to seat, mirror, etc.. You can setup an Amazon link, so you get paid every time someone uses it. Thanks 😛
