- Want to make your recipes easy to share and download on your blog? Use the WP Recipe Maker plugin on your Wordpress website to easily add recipes to blog posts, and make them printable for your audience!
The WP Recipe Maker plugin is free, but it does have premium features you can pay for. I'd definitely recommend at least utilizing the capability to change colors of fonts, so that the recipe matches your website. If you want to share recipes on Wordpress, this is definitely an easy plugin to use!

My wordpress does not look like this when I go to make a new post. Do you have any videos with the newest wordpress and also how to insert it into an already existing post? Sorry, I'm very new to using plugins and it seems super overwhelming!
What if I don't want the whole recipe written out but have only the photo, and you click on the photo to bring to another link where it will take you to the recipe on a separate page?

I have tried changing the colors to work with the colors of my website, but the only option I have is "accent color". (I think they must have a newer version of this plug in because my screen doesn't look completely like yours in the video). I have been able to change the color in settings, but it doesn't change it on the post. Any suggestions?

I see you have divi builder, but you don't plug the recipe there. If you use divi builder, where on the post will the recipe go? Can you move it?

Get the short code and add it to a text module. Might be able to use the code module too

You need to build a recipe archive index page for that.
Hi Jess: I'm a little confused by this. To make this look like most recipe sites I have seen, would I first create the blog post and then what you described becomes the part below where people see the actual recipe and click on it to print it?
Jill Hendrickson you could do it that way! You can create the recipe before you start the blog or during, and then yes, add it into the post.
I don't seem to have the option to use the WP Recipe plugin on a new post....are you using Gutenberg?

Do you know if Elementor has an easy way to build recipes like you can with WP Recipe Maker? With a popular page builder like Elementor you’d think they’d have a simple option for creating recipes.

What other Wordpress plugin tutorials do you want to see?
Doesn't seem to work too well for my application. Trying to find a plug-in that will allow me to set up a recipe section of my current blog site. This seems to want to add to my already existing blog feed. Not at all what I need. Thanks though!
If you want to do that, you just need to create a page that shows only posts that are categorized as recipes. You can still use the plugin, it's just a matter of how you manage the pages and your navigation menu.
@@JessCreatives818 I'll have to look at the instructions again, but the documentation for WP says that you can only have one blog feed per installation. Not what I want. Thanks for the feedback!
@@critterscropscuisine2886 it's not a second feed installation. Some themes allow you to only show certain posts in a certain category. Like, my 'podcast page' only shows the posts that are my podcasts, no blogs or videos.
Are you using the pro version? I don't have color and font options.
