Very interested as there are not too many tuners around me. My sniper/Hyperspark runs well but I feel the car is down on power. I build a basic timing map but I’m going to reinstall my dual plane manifold and after deciding which works best for my application, have it tuned.
My day job is all tech related things at efisystempro.com we have tuning help options there if you want to check it out if you can’t find someone. Half of my day is helping people tune their snipers.
Sorry, TH-cam seems to have changed how we get to comments so I haven't seen this till now. I got my tuning start with boost, been doing it for close to 20 years. We might be able to do something. Shoot me an email and we can see about working it out.
I have a brand new 383 in a 90 k5 blazer with the sniper2 and the hyperspark distributor. The engine was built by smeding performance and they tuned the sniper on a dyno, when I have it in overdrive and I’m just cruising it at normal speeds it loses power and it won’t recover until I put the throttle all the way to the floor. It doesn’t do it in third gear when I take it outta OD it runs great I’m hoping it’s a tuning issue that you can help me with,
Sounds like there could be a weird rich or lean spot in the area where the OD puts it on the fuel table. I don’t really do any tuning outside of my day job at efisystempro.com but if you want to email through our site I can probably take a look
Ok thank you I’ve got a little more work to do on it before it’s gonna be ready to drive on a regular basis but I’ll touch base with you in the middle of April
