    I fly 40 times a year for work and eat at least $15-20 (avg $17.50) of food each time from the AC lounge, so it's definitely worth the $450 fee because I'm saving $700 in buying food haha.

    One of the things I enjoyed flying international from Haiti was using the Admiral's Club private showers. They've been closed since the 2020 CV thing, but i keep asking if they've reopened and hope they will soon. Coming back from places with marginal accommodations and being able to shower up in Miami, Dallas, NY LA etc. is worth a lot of $$. Citi card is my portal at $450/year but $30/bag is $60/roundtrip. I'd say within 5 trips a year you break even - considering airport food is $20 a day and charging all devices etc. Now if only my AA card and membership could help with easing SSSS status.

    I'm beginning a new position for my company up at the admirals club in DEN and it would be nice to see you. We're moving from A to C con and I'm part of the grand opening later in September that will attract media and it would be surprising to see you there.
    I just ran into your videos randomly..
    But i think it was destiny! 😅😊
    Great videos.

    Great informative video. I travel via Atlanta often and utilize the Delta lounges. One (1) of the drawbacks is that there are premium drinks which Delta charges for and I think that that is rude.
    With the Admirals Club are you able to utilize the lounge(s) after a flight or only outbound flights only? Thanks in advance.

    • @ScottLeRay
      @ScottLeRay  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks fam. I think Admirals Club's can be accessed before outbound flights only. But double check.

    In the Admiral Club now in O’Hare. A first class domestic ticket doesn’t get you in…$60 for a day pass. Lounge is clean and has showers, no sleep areas though. Two bars, nice bathrooms(4 each). Free drinks is terrible. 1 bottle beer and 1 draft, 1 red and 1 white wine(both terrible). We’ll booze doesn’t even include a scotch. You have to buy the better liquor, beer and wine and for regular higher end restaurant prices. Free food is even worse. A couple of soups, make your own pork slider and some hummus and a few veggies. They charge $3 for a tiny bag of chips. Options to buy are limited and food is like a bad diner. My take is you’re paying for clean bathrooms, more lounging space and showers. Delta Sky Club is a better option and any airport that has a Centurion Club is really where you want to be(O’Hare doesn’t have one). My first and last visit to an Admiral Club.

    • @ScottLeRay
      @ScottLeRay  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the review. I only think it's worth it for individuals who fly American A LOT (8+ times a year). I don't think day passes are a good value for people who use the lounge only a few times a year. This goes for all lounges in my opinion.

    • @DWilliam1
      @DWilliam1 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@ScottLeRay Which is why Centurion is the best deal if you already have a Platinum card. That said $50 for a guest at Centurion is absolutely worth it because you drink unlimited premium drinks and have restaurant quality food. Delta is also a better value because you can go in with a ticket and Platinum card and even if you have to pay $30 for the day pass you have better food and better liquor. The Admiral Club is the absolute worst IMO.

    Awesome job! Now you are making me want to be part of the VIP member with AA. I always travel with Delta because I love their flights. I don’t think the have a private lounge for their clients, and if they do I don’t even know where it is located at. Does AA have a private lounge everywhere or some specific locations?

      @@ScottLeRay yes sir absolutely! I love lounge related videos and reviews because I often visit them myself. What do you think about the AMEX Centurion Lounges? In my opinion all of these lounges are different... The Admiral's club reminds me of the Delta Sky Clubs... Chase is now about to open their own series of Sapphire lounges to attempt to rival the AMEX Centurion Lounges. The priority pass lounges are okay also. Escape lounges are great and equivalent to the Centurion Lounges in my opinion. What are your thoughts? 🙏🏾😎💯
