so true! npr has been great since I was a kid, in music, interviews, etc. All the musicians seem to feel genuinely appreciated for their music on these
@@Christina0925 He is literally one of the most famous musicians right now, right behind Taylor Swift. A lot of his songs are number 1, GLOBALLY. He is not just famous, he is one of the most famous people in music right now.

@@Squatchygal I personally only heard bits and pieces of his earlier stuff but didn't think much of it...then I saw his Nirvana session during Covid and did a complete 180 on his abilities and how grounded he is. Then stuff like this only cements things. I wish he performed with a full band more often. Add in a lot of stuff with him having pure genuine interactions with fans and it's pretty obvious he's not just good, he's needed.
their engineer is incredible. the howard stern show has probably the best live performance engineering I've ever heard oddly enough, worth looking up post's performances there as well
I only "discovered" this man a month ago and keep coming back to you tube to listen to/watch him. There is something so charming and lovable about him, the quaver in his voice and the way he moves, a lot of charisma in this man. Glad I found him. Thanks Tiny Desk! (his mouth is worth more than my house! But I wouldn't trade.)
Talk about being vulnerable and compassionate. Not only did Posty take time during his surely busy tour schedule to perform this for us but he also did it with a severely strained voice and a smile. What a performer. What an artist. What a human 💚
There is something just magic about NPR. Like a big class project and everyone did the homework and the whole team knocks it out of the park every time. Would love to hear all the artists say what NPR means to them.
His warmth and happiness is infectious. A pleasure to watch, his generosity, humility and selflessness is a joy and we are truely honoured to watch this performance. Well done Postie, the nephew of invention
Dude is one of the most talented artist of this generation hands down. This dude can sell a country album and a hip hop album and go platinum . I would love for him and Blind Fury to do a country /hip hop Album they would win a Grammy for sure
Notice how every time the other musicians came in, his voice seemed to start “trusting itself”. A little more confidence each time no matter how worn he might have been from tour. That’s why I love playing music with great musicians around you. It brings the best out of ya no matter what shape you’re in. This is sick
I love tiny desk concerts because a musician cannot hide. It's only their voice and their music laid bare. You passed the test in my opinion Posty. Good on ya.
Meeting Post Malone in person when he performed in my city was such an incredible experience. He’s the most humble person I’ve ever met, and his concert was truly special because it happened just one day before I moved abroad. It was a moment I’ll always carry with me, especially since I got a signed Funko Pop! That concert, his energy, and his down-to-earth personality made the whole experience unforgettable. Posty
The woman harmonizing “she wanna ride me like a cruise” starts to smirk right after lol. I would pay to see a full concert of this setup. All their vocals together with all the live instruments sounds incredibly amazing to my ears!
Obviously a little different but his current tour is with full band, strings and all. Not this band but a really really talented band. We saw him in Dallas and it was amazing!
He is so sweet and genuine and has a shy side, but doesn't take himself too seriously. He is friendly and with a sense of humor. He's modest, and even when he thinks his voice is "balls right now", he sounds amazing and has a lot of range in his voice that I never noticed before! As a new fan, in May 2024. He's brilliantly gifted, I look forward to seeing more from him.
It kind of sounds like you see those things as a crutch or something, when they’re just part of his sound. An acoustic album would be cool, but there’s nothing wrong with electronic music or auto tune. It’s just another tool in a musicians toolkit
@@Radarssbm yeah... but it ruins the purity of it all . He is doing very well i think :D its just that Feeling that his music would be richer without electronics
This entire performance was completely magical. I love the way the entire band works together. I play violin and I could only dream of playing in a band like this! Everyone cheering at the end and the entire band smiling really made me cry. I wish the performance was longer, but I’m just grateful that I got to watch it. Peace and love to everyone reading this ✌🏻 ❤️
Ending so strong with Enough Is Enough was absolutely beautiful. You can tell that the band loves and supports him in the way that he needs them to in order to give the best possible performance by all of them. It’s so beautiful to hear but also to see so much talent on one tiny desk ❤❤❤❤
I love how awkward his bows are. Like “I know I don’t deserve this, but thank you”. He is so good. Crosses genres so well. Just a good dude playing excellent music.
Post seems like such a beautiful person and even the way he sits shows vulnerability and shyness. I pray he feels all the love from his fans and that it’s enough for him to see how valuable he is.
The whole concept of tiny desk concert is so subtle but beautiful, with the artist in the centre surrounded by books. Gets me in the vibe whenever i tune in….❤️
As a person who just saw him in concert, and then see this released, this is the real deal. His voice is stretched to the limits right now, and Bob is not using auto tune on his mic or the background vocals as far as I can tell. That vibrato he has is really actually crazy. Is it perfect? No. Is it a real band of rockstars and some of the best talent in the world? Yes.
Loving these Tiny Desk concerts! It's a flashback to the MTV Unplugged days, which truly showed how great bands and artists were and so do Tiny Desk concerts
It's been over a year, but this concert is still at the top of my listening list. Every single second spent listening feels absolutely worth it. He truly is an incredible talent.
It's really driving me nuts how much better this is than any of the official album versions. Post Malone, you seem like a real nice guy. Could you get this band back together and record all of your songs like this? That would be amazing
He’s one of the guys on top that is too humble to take it for granted. We are lucky to have an example of that. His parents should be proud. He turned out to be a good man.
That's crazy man, I love how Tiny Desk consistently brings out brand-new, refreshing arrangements of songs we've come to know. I had no idea the first song was Sunflower until he started singing! This is probabaly one of my favorite Tiny Desk concerts tbh
Post is just a great guy. I took my then 10 old son to see him in early 2020. He made sure my boy got a sunflower, his tech delivered smashed pieces of his guitar to him, and Post came down to autograph one of them for him. I’ll never forget how kind he was. Just an all around good dude… and his talent is generational.
I am a big NPR fan and Always put Austin’s work aside since it didn’t fit my genre. After this little session I’m proud to say NPR brought me Post Malone . 🎉

Notice how every time the other musicians came in, his voice seemed to start “trusting itself”. A little more confidence each time no matter how worn he might have been from tour.
