A good tip to shred Motz is to put it in the freezer for a few minutes until it gets more solid and not as soft, not frozen though. It makes it easier to shred.
Dave... People watch you cook because they love that your a regular guy and you have an entertaining way of speaking while you cook... Do NOT let people tell you what you can and cant talk about... If people change everything someone says they dont care for individuality wouldnt exist ... Your personality is what pulls people in to watch you cook... Keep doing you man...
Buffalo chicken wings were founded here in my town of Buffalo, NY when a chef mixed Frank's Red Hot sauce with butter and tossed fried wings in them. That was at Anchor Bar. Over the years people adapted the wing idea into a dip. But Buffalonians ONLY use Blue Cheese NEVER ranch, but I get that was what the recipe called for. Also, our level of spice here in Buffalo, is on a different scale than almost anywhere else. More or less butter adjusts the heat! Also, looking great Dave! Kudos on the weight loss!
the reason you notice a difference with preshredded cheese is that they add starch to it so the cheese doesnt stick together. That starch can leave a filmy texture when eaten
Once your chicken is cooked, you can use 2 forks to shred (pull) the chicken apart even while it is still warm, just an idea. I'm not a cook either this is just how I do it. Blessings to you all!
Hi, put your cheese in the freezer for a little while, it will shred so much easier! Can also shred chicken with a mixer. Love this channel, I have been binging all your channels today!
Hey I thought you on the other channel I heard you talking about this channel interesting cooking channel I follow the instructions you said and it came out great 👍 looking forward to the next video thank you so much for sharing 🍗🍲
Someone else mentioned a cheesecake and I second that as well as suggest fried chicken or a fried rice of some type - my personal faves are vegetable fried rice or pork fried rice
We were taught in school that you were never to put hot meat in the refrigerator. It's supposed to cool down first. I've always followed that rule, whether it's right or not.
Glad you made the decision to continue having your cooking videos. I have been watching you since the beginning. You have got a lot better at doing them. The only suggestion I could make is to wait until the dish is cool enough to eat before tasting them. This recipe looks great but I do not eat spicy hot. Maybe I could add some Cystal hot sauce instead, it is very mild, and it would work for me. Thanks Dave, and I can tell you have had a weight loss. Keep it up.
Use a bigger oven safe deep cast iron pan and stir with wooden . It won't clog your wisk . Cast iron goes right to the oven , less pots to clean . Serving in a cast iron pan is classic .
Your weight loss, It's noticeable. CONGRATS! and I watch too much Dave...and I said this before you did. Please don't put the towels and potholders on that stove top. like at 3.07. Fine on the lid but... That cheese you can hand shred. It's made in layers. Cut it and wiggle it in your fingers and it should "shred". Price vs higher fresh mozz and that's one of my favs. Liquid is just easier to pour. I don't like buffalo most of the time lol. Sunchips I think are low carb. You can make your own chips too.
Loved this! You can put chicken in a bowl and use an electric mixer - takes just a couple minutes to get a fine shred! Could you try eggrolls? I feel if you could do them i might stand a chance lol 😂!
I bake my chicken breasts with Italian dressing wrapped in tin foil with a little water in the pan. It kind of steams it. Also, if you use 2 forks when the chicken is hot, it will shred easily without touching it.
Ok so no one has answered any of your questions, So I will to the best of my ability. 1/ the difference between pre-sherred cheese and not shredded is pre-shredded has a powder on it to stop clumping in the bag. Which also stops it from melting right, won't get that good cheese pull. As a bonus. if you put your mozzarella in the freezer for like 10 minuets before shredding it it will be firmer, easier to shred. 2/ the only dumb question is the question not asked. 3/ No there is no difference between dry and wet measuring cups. And 4/ it is a play on Buffalo chicken wings. Which as pointed out by another viewer was first made in Buffalo NY. Just found your channel and have 4 or 5 videos, and like them all good job mate.
next time get a rotisserie chicken from the grocery store and use about 2 cups of the meat chopped (no skin), saves a bunch of time and no quality is suffered and you get a carcass to freeze and use to make stock
@@CookingWthDave Great recipe. Sorry I’m late to the party. Just a suggestion.. next time try using low moisture park skim milk mozzarella cheese. It’s easier to shred and it’s meant for baking like on pizza. The fresh mozzarella has more moisture and is meant to be eaten fresh in salads like Caprese. It’s also more expensive than the low moisture part skim block. Great job on your videos. I love that you’re showing real home cooks that you don’t have to be a pro to have fun making delicious homemade meals.

+1 for never, ever, ever ranch!
We are from Buffalo area also. Ranch is against the law. NEVER Ranch lol.
Lets go buffalo all the way this time!!!
Anyone else waiting for that laptop to fall off the table?

You shredding Fresh Mozzarella was everything!! 😂 A for effort!

When you said poached chicken, I was like geebus this recipe is soooo intense that it calls for you to go out and illegally hunt the chickens 🤣🤣
Lol!
If you want to shred hot chicken, put it in a blender and just blitz it a bit at a time. Works like a charm.
We shred chicken with a fork 😊 can do hot if needed then. Works with soft beef/ pork too
Yay, you're back and looking good. Everyone loves a good dip. How about a good breakfast casserole next?
Yes, you can see the weight loss...congratulations!!! The dip looks fabulous 😋 Keep cooking Dave style!!!
You could use celery for dipping to keep it keto/low carb
I'd substitute pepper jack cheese for the cheddar...
Try using celery as a dipper in the buffalo chicken. Tastes great and low carbs 😋
or the carrot chips you can sometimes find in the store
Hi, put your cheese in the freezer for a little while, it will shred so much easier! Can also shred chicken with a mixer. Love this channel, I have been binging all your channels today!
World’s best Orange Chicken would be cool
You're adorable. I always use my food processor to shred cheese. Easy peasy cheesy.
You needed to have let it cook about 40-45 minutes… that’s why it’s so needy‼️👁️👁️😂
Hey I thought you on the other channel I heard you talking about this channel interesting cooking channel I follow the instructions you said and it came out great 👍 looking forward to the next video thank you so much for sharing 🍗🍲
Definitely can see the weight loss Dave! 🎉

Summer time = Some BBQ recipes? Smoked meats, Smoked mac and cheese? potato salad? Mac salad? picnic foods?
Biscuits and gravy casserole or just biscuits and gravy regular style.

Use big serving forks to shred or buy shredding claws . Buffalo sauce is from Buffalo NY .
Looks yummy Dave Will have to try this one too😊💐👍
Hello from a first time viewer of your cooking channel. From where did you order the cutting board? I really enjoyed watching.
I got it on amazon
Use pork rinds as the dip to make it more low carb. Could make the ranch to make it more low carb.
Yep, that laptop is going down LOL
Use a bigger oven safe deep cast iron pan and stir with wooden . It won't clog your wisk . Cast iron goes right to the oven , less pots to clean . Serving in a cast iron pan is classic .
Getting back to watching these. Low carb diet recipe. Looks good!!
Can thin with cream or milk and chip don't break . Or serve over chips as individual servings .
Somethings a double boiler works wonders to heat sauces and not burn them .

Hey Dave that looks amazing. I would recommend trying to make Worlds Best Taco Pie.
Wow, that's looking really tasty!!!

I'm making this for hubby soon.
You can use 2 forks to shred when it's hot.
Try making Swedish meatballs with a sauce!
Hey I see the diet is working. Keep it up.
I’m surprised it called for fresh mozzarella as opposed to low moisture mozzarella!!
You should try some international food . Like a Filipino dish , try chicken adobo or lumpia (which is an egg roll)
next time get a rotisserie chicken from the grocery store and use about 2 cups of the meat chopped (no skin), saves a bunch of time and no quality is suffered and you get a carcass to freeze and use to make stock
Someone said you have 2 TH-cam channels. What's your other one?
