1.champaran movement was a dispute between britishers and farmers over indigo cultivation its has nothing to do with freedom movement. Since gandhi was a well-known lawyer farmers approached him.
2.The Kheda movement was for the demand for tax relief by the local farmers who were suffering from the failure of crops due to floods and plague. Again its nothing to do with freedom movement it only increased gandhi's popularity between nation. It was Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who Played a crucial role in organizing the peasants and leading the campaign.
3.Khalifat (Caliphate) was the Ottoman Sultan, considered the Caliph (spiritual leader) by many Muslims, was deprived of his power and territory by the Allied powers. This was seen as an attack on the spiritual authority of Islam. Indian Muslims were concerned about the fate of the Caliphate and sought to pressure the British government to protect it. Again it has nothing to do with freedom movement of India but surprisingly it ignited 2 nation theory.
      4. Non-cooperation movement was launched in response to the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in 1919 and the repressive Rowlatt Act. the Non-Cooperation Movement was a mixed success: it did not meet its primary objective of achieving immediate self-rule, but it was highly effective in mobilizing the masses, promoting economic self-reliance, and establishing the framework for future resistance against British colonial rule. I agree this was gandhi's great achievement which started india's freedom movement nationwide.
      5. Civil-Disobedience Movement was launched following the failure of the Simon Commission and the British government's refusal to grant dominion status to India. It was also a response to the British monopoly on salt production and sales, which severely impacted the Indian population. No one can deny the fact that the movement was successfully but the point is why did he signed gandhi-irwin pact ? Even Jawaharlal Nehru expressed his reservations and concerns about the agreement. Nehru was skeptical of the British government's intentions and doubted whether the concessions made were sufficient or would be honored. His reaction reflects the internal debates and differing perspectives within the Indian National Congress regarding the best strategies to achieve independence.Nehru believed that the concessions gained were modest compared to the sacrifices made by the people during the Civil Disobedience Movement. He was concerned that agreeing to suspend the movement might demoralize the masses who had been mobilized for the cause.
      5. Quit india movement was a failure gandhi was house arrested in aga khan palace in pune and the congress leaders were imprisoned and the whole movement was destroyed within 3 months. If quit india movement succeed than we will get the independence in 1942.
