    I think Mike just makes the food really fun. He is a realist and gives honest opinions about the food he tries. He isn't fake and he has the genuinnely great personality that people love to watch. I swear to that Food Network, should pay him to travel and eat food from around the world. Just him. I would pay to watch that. Better than anything that Food Network has except for Diners, DriveIns, and Drives.

      Rags Riches while I’d love to see that type of success for him, I like him untethered to network schedules and timelines. I feel like this format allows him to be genuine and authentic

      @@One2Araiz I believe so too, by being independent he can do what he wants, and say what he wants. Once he got contracted to those networks, he will lose what people look for in his channel; Genuineness in his Passion.

    I can never thank you enough, not just for always featuring our beloved Filipino cuisine but for actually loving it!!! Sadly our food is quite underrated although it has the potential to compete with other Asian cuisines that are now popular worldwide. However, this will only happen if we become resolute in merchandising our food the same way the Japanese, Thais and Korean people do. Part of the problem why our cuisine hasn't achieved yet the recognition it deserves, is the mindset of many Filipinos whose Colonial mentally thrives until today, therefore patronises foreign cuisine more often than their own!

    • @dl3056
      @dl3056 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No way, so many other asian cuisines are better! Although I do love Adobo, Sinigang, Kare-Kare, Sisig, Kinilaw na Pusit, Bicol Express, Ginisang ampalaya, Pancit, Bulalo, Lechon, Lumpia, Kaldareta, Dinuguan, Monggo Guisado and of course BBQ sa kalsada. Hmmmm I might retract my first statement.

      Do the buffet style. Before I go to a buffet I don't eat the whole day, not even a snack or a candy. And I always do not drink any liquid while eating... if it can't be helped it has to be non carbonated drink and I don't drink alcohol - it will usually give you alcohol belly
