I've flown on the ERJ 145's a few times and I really enjoy flying on it. I like the one seat side option as I prefer to not have a seatmate. This little plane does a great job and feels like you are hauling ass once you are at cruise. I do love the sound of those engines at takeoff as well (I always sit near the back just for that reason).
Great Trip Report!! I am a Cabin Crew for Loganair (one of the last operators of the ERJ-145 in europe). Its a good A/C to work with! Love seeing videos about them. Keep the Good job!!✈️
Thank you so much. I will be flying from Johannesburg to Kasane, Northern Botswana to i.a. meet my new Grandson and family. I, too, will be flying on a 145. A new one, It made me looking even more than ever. Thanks ❤
I have flown on the E145 many times. When AA stopped flying Dash-8 propeller aircraft, it became the only way to fly into to SBY. It is small, I am 6'2", but I almost always book 12A, the exit row. Overall it's a very comfortable aircraft.
Looks like a really cool aircraft to fly on. Unfortunately, the smallest thing I've ever flown comercially was a B717. Did a scenic flight in a Cessna 172 once but that doesn't count 😜 I'd love to fly on one of those regional jets. Unfortunately you don't find them anymore in Europe where I'm based. Even the CRJ has become rare here. Everything ERJ-175 and A220 here. Guess I'll have to visit the US to fly on a ERJ-145 some day.
Hey I have flown on them. I live in ROC and a lot of regional jets fly here. I have taken. One on AA. I also have flown one from NCE-MAD in Europe and it is still very comfortable overall. But it definitely is a small plane.
I flew on the E145 on United from HPN - ORD. Unfortunately I got it when it was bumpy on the way to ORD and back but it's a neat little aircraft. I love the single seating arrangement on this plane! It's almost like first class. My Dad didn't believe me at first about the seating when I was telling him about the plane.
My experience is flying from Chicago to Grand Rapids and then from Chicago to Atlanta. Its a very cosy aircraft which causes issues for passengers who travel with carry on. Personally I loved the single seat which reminded me of flying on a Saab 340!
The last time I flew on an ERJ-145, hubby & I booked the two seat location. A toddler behind me screamed, rolled in the aisle & kicked the back of my seat non-stop. I finally caught the attention of the only flight attendant & asked him if I could move across the aisle to the single seat…and thank goodness, the plane wasn’t full & the attendant allowed me to move. From what I could see, the mother was watching a movie with headphones, paying zero attention to her little cherub. Longest 1:15 minute flight of my LIFE.
I flew in a ERJ-145 on a short hop from Denver to Durango just before Mexican beer made 2020 a shitshow. I was seated in the very front seat and I could hear the TAWS chime in the elevation as the plane was landing!
Nice little fly along. The flush was an extra touch :P I haven't personally been on one (haven't flown in years!). As I understand, the 145 is being phased out, along with some of the other Embraer aircraft in favor of the A220.
American Eagle operated by: Envoy Air flies Embraer 145 jets out of Waco Regional Airport to Dallas/ Fort Worth. That aircraft will no longer fly that route. It will be taken over by the Embraer 175 jet.
I've flown on United's E145 a few times, and I really like it. The lack of WiFi is annoying, but the plane itself is a really fun plane to fly on.
I flew as a Flight Attendant for 5 years for Republic Airlines I loved working the E135 and the E145
They are definitely better than a CRJ-200!
What is that blue light above the flight deck door?

I don’t really love flying on the small commuter planes, but I do like the one seat thing on the ERJ.😊

By far, my favorite as well. I prefer the one-seat side of the aisle.
E 175 - 195's are nice also, mini 757's.
I’ll be flying on this in January (Philly to Cleveland to meet a friend). It actually seems like a better plane than I expected.
I would agree with your statement. Especially if you sit on that single seat side where there isn't an overhead bin to limit your vertical space
I flew these for several years in the UK in the early 2000’s. Great, dependable little hot-rod.

I wish I had the chance to fly a Saab 340 but Silver retired them before I could get the opportunity

Haha yeah it can be really hit or miss on the little taco rockets. But I'll definitely take one of these over a CRJ-200

I always enjoy hearing the GPWS callouts when sitting near the front!
I'll be flying on the ERJ-145 from Ft Wayne to Charlotte and back when I fly to Italy. I've been on CRJ-200 and 900 before this.
You'll enjoy the 145 over the CRJ2 for sure

As far as I know the 145 is going to be around for at least a little while longer at AA Eagle (But for Piedmont only)
PGV to CLT, American Eagle uses that type of aircraft.

The 175 is great, but I actually prefer the 145 due to it's single seat side
Small planes are also needed) 3:43 Please tell me what kind of planes these are?
at 3:43, the one on the left is a CRJ-900, and the one on the right is another E145 like I was on
MADE SURE TO LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE!!!!!!!!
Appreciate it!
Okay I did!
Is this jet ok for someone claustrophobic? Asking for a friend
It's small for sure, but I wouldn't say cramped. I highly recommend sitting on the left side (the 1 seat only side) like I did.
i barely could read all the explanations due to they stay for too short period of time :(

Oh man why’d you go to Fort Wayne 😂 there’s nothing there
One thing for sure, the ERJs are better than the CRJ200s (aka. Crappy Regional Jet)!
Yep!
The erj145 is 100x better than the crj 200
can confirm!
