This week I fly on the British low cost airline Norse Atlantic, and talk about why I've refused to fly on them until now.

It was cheaper to repaint, retrain, and start a new branch of the airline then to sue you.
Shame on them sending you a letter like that. You’re always polite in your reviews. They need to get over themselves. Oh but wait…they went out of business. 😊
When I was a Captain for Norwegian I think I ran across the character who threatened to sue you, my interaction with him was also distasteful. I won’t talk about it on the internet as you might guess his reaction.

The cease and desist notice was interpreted the other way around and they ceased and desist.
As most people should know by now, you get the dreaded SSSS on your boarding pass and extra screening when there is something unusual about your travel circumstance. It is often because you bought a one-way ticket, bought your ticket at the last minute, or paid cash for your flight.
"Meal not very good, toilet a bit dirty." Noel are you heading for a Norse lawsuit? Must say my experience with international flights on Malaysia's Air Asia and Australia's Jetstar is much better than that.
They sued you or just threatened ? Oh dear , seems like commenting on an airline is now kind of a “criminal offence “!!😮, and what an ugly seats!! Ah Norse, the only airline to ever refuse me check-in because I arrived too late. No online check-in option (in 2023??) so had to go to the desk. Was told by the lady that I had arrived too late, and that even with an hour remaining to boarding (I had even paid for Gatwick Express Security) I would not make it to the aircraft. She then took a photo of my passport and shared it to a WhatsApp group. Sent them an email saying 'we will investigate' then despite several follow-ups, never got back to me. Without a doubt the only airline I will ever refuse to fly.
One problem with Norse is that it's constantly changing its schedules, axing routes, destinations and so on. It means travellers who book months ahead may be inconvenienced. I mean Boston and Washington DC were supposed to restart this summer but are now cancelled. Norse's Caribbean network from LGW has been cut back substantially since plans were first announced months ago.

Just to correct: Norwegian didn't go bust. They shut down their long haul department, because they lost too much money on it. Norwegian is still flying short haul in Europe (you can even see one of their planes at approximately
I flew Norse premium in July 2023 from JFK>OSL - all Oslo based crew and when I told them I had just done a marathon itinerary BNE>CBR>SYD>CGK>DOH>JFK they looked after me super well, moved me to a quieter spot in the cabin etc etc. Their service was the best I’ve ever had on a low cost carrier and was on par with QR/QF business service. Not to mention the flight was only $550USD!
Noel--you're most kind and charitable for describing the Norse flight as "good value for money!" @ $1700, the food was sketchy (I note the hockey-puck "quiche" for example) and the lavatory worse so! Seat looked decent, though, so there's that! cheers until the next one!

Norwegian still exists, but during covid they scaled down to domestic flights within Norway, and regional flights within Europe.
