Dear Katie, I just discovered your channel while you were in Minneapolis around the fourth of July. I am glad you like this area because it has been my home most of my life. I have watched some of your mental health videos because I, too, have struggled with depression, anxiety, and compulsive behavior for most of my life. Depression began while I was in high school, and I am 73 years old right now. I find your analysis of your maladies and your descriptions of the efficacy of meds and therapy to be spot on. Mental illness is a PHYSICAL ILLNESS, a fact which is denied by some. Every individual human responds in their own unique way to meds and therapy, and finding the right combination can take a long time of trial and error. You are a brave lady to be so candid and public about your struggles. Good luck to you and best wishes for continued success in pursuing your goals!

So fun to see my city from a tourist perspective. I could tell you were at Knollwood when you went to Nordstrom as I go there all the time.
Jenna Redfield Twin Cities Collective Wait - Knollwood in St. Louis Park?! I grew up 2 blocks from there! Imagine getting to walk to Target and the mall when you were a teen. (As well as like 5 parks and the library!) Didn’t know how good I had it! Even so, we actually called the mall Dullwood. Ha!
I totally remember when that Kohl’s was new. I actually ripped the top of my finger almost all the way off in an escalator grate when I was 3, when it used to be a Montgomery Wards. lol
I live in St Paul! I’m glad you got to come and visit here! The weather has been super hot and sticky but I’m glad you had fun!

I spent many of my childhood years in a suburb right outside of Minneapolis. I miss it except the winters LOL we still go once a year to visit family. Enjoy MN 💜💜

I've been watching your videos for a while but just subscribed today! I live about a mile from Randy's (and you are correct, it's in Oakdale). We ate there often before the switch to gluten free, but not since. I think that was about 2 years ago. My son is allergic to dairy and I know they can do dairy free pizza as well. Glad you came to our state!

Can I ask where your suggestions are for car sleeping in the area? I’m scared to park anywhere around the cities because I never know how much the cops are policing or what the rules are. Can you suggest?

Do you have any advice to help with driving anxiety? I'm about to go live in my mazda5 because I'm broke from hospital bills, and I always have this fear of crashing by accidentally hitting the accelerator instead of the brakes. Or just driving off the highway omg I haven't really driven regularly in forever, and the most I've driven lately is just the mile to work
I've become a binge watcher of your vlog and LOVE your way of life for you! Especially love how you rep certain products and I hope these companies are giving you some love $$ Could you possibly think of doing a video to see how someone seeking roadtrip life would budget for food, clothing, gas, insurance, etc. Sometimes persons living with mental health issues could have some mania surrounding buying things impulsivlely and it could mess up their lives ending in credit card debt and zero financial freedom. Thanks! Keep doing what you're doing!

I wish I was 30 again felt like yesterday. U don't realize how young 30 seem until ur 49 and wish u were 30 again . Yes and when ur 70 u will wish u were 49. I get it. Still 30 is truly young ish
Have you ever thought about getting your class A license to drive a rig? You could make tons of money, bank it, all while driving cross country (which most drivers hate because they'd rather have a local dedicated run). You'd also have more room, place for a TV, microwave, refrigerator, and free showers at truck stops when you fill up. Your money would add up quick, could still do videos, and eventually buy a house with cash when you decide to.
Just a thought.
