I ate some hash this morning and thought I'd watch as much of this as possible. I'd say so far this clip is...err! the opening track is like Daniel Johnston which is cool, but the second song, by Wagner, is... It's mind melting even for this show. I think i might actually be getting brainwashed. The closest thing this show reminds me of is william burrough's cut-up recordings. it seems to be attempting, quite deliberatly, to disrupt rational thought. i need to do a crossword and de-programme!
I timed Wagner the Giraffe's song. It's five and a half minutes long, which is bad enough, but it feels even longer than that. It's amazing that David's this bad at singing along to a recording that he himself made.
Last night I had a dream that I was telling a lady that I was thinking of putting on an Easter display in a window inside my house. She said I should only display religious things and that bunnies, chocolate and even Easter eggs were commercial. I said bunnies chocolate and eggs were what made Easter fun, the religious message of Easter was boring. She then chased me out of my own house and threw things at me! It was a strange dream anyway because I live in an apartment.

Whatever good done by religion can be done by science while good done by science can't be done by religion. In other words, we don't need religion. Science is not what does the killing, science is not what brings problems. Science is just a way through which we figure out how nature works to a great extent in order to control it. Whether we use it for our benefit or not is where the problem lies.
