Hope you had a good Chinese New Year, we have a few Barrell drops in the UK but without a doubt it is expensive £95 or $118 US at the moment, I might have to pass, but I did get the Dovetail 62.35% ( Batch 11 I think) before the £-$ exchange dropped. It's opened up well with a rum, port & Cabernet finish.
Yea it was a good CNY, pretty mellow since the man outlawed big fireworks. $118 is a bit on the steep side I think but man....... i'd still consider it haha. But I'm a sucker....🧔 How was the Dovetail?
@@FreedsFirstTime_Whisky_Reviews Well I'd get one again, but give it time to open up maybe pour some into a spare bottle, it loses the heat after a few weeks air & it's now one of my top 10 Bourbons first place going too Bull Run American Whisky (MGP) I've had the 13 & 14 yr versions finished in Pinot Noir casks, & they are good value (ish :) in the UK & so moreish, your bottle won't last the month.😋
