Once you pull the tab make sure the glass is evenly aligned top to bottom of the screen. My first attempt made it sit too low causing a problem. You can move it a bit with light touch, don't press down hard, just move it so it sits even and flush.
Everytime I get a new Samsung phone, I always come to your channel to watch the video about putting these screen protectors on. Even though I've done this a bunch of times, I always watch your video as I install it. Great video as always
Cracked my S23 Ultra a few weeks ago, bought this screen protector. I DO NOT regret it one bit!! Paranoia was definitely a factor as to not get bubbles underneath the tempered glass, but it's on now, and not one single bubble!!
THANK YOU!! Because of your video I ordered and just installed my Dome Glass screen protector. I did waste one of the vials of UV gel balancing my phone, but get everything cleaned up amd started over at inserting the phone into the jig. Thank You for the step by step tutorial as it was WAY better than trying to read the instructions!
Thank you so much for this step-by-step installation video! It was more complicated than I expected, but you so calmly took me through, and your steps worked perfectly!
Installed the 1st one. The S Pen would only work at the top 1/4 and bottom 1/4 of the screen. So I thought I might have installed it incorrectly. So I removed it and installed the second one. Everything worked fine. Fingerprint sensor and S pen. After a few weeks it is back to the S Pen only working on two very thin strips on the screen. I have checked all settings. If I pull the screen protector off it works 100% all the time. I veeified this after removing the 1st one. The finger print sensor still works but not as quickly as it did after I installed it. I never had any issues with my S21. But the installation frame was totally different. It had a wind-up mechanism that slowly lowered the screen in position. The glue spread evenly and fully on the S23 and I used the rubber weight and followed the exact curing steps. I love the protection but if the S pen issues can't be fixed I will remove it and go with a competitor.
That's really odd about the S Pen and the screen protector. I know my S Pen works perfectly fine with the screen protector installed. For your fingerprint scanner, you should re-register your fingerprints and it should work flawlessly after.
Question for you EBMAN. Is it supposed to have that gap in the top of the screen? The protector is noticeably gapped from the top of the phone and shows on the camera gap.
No the gap I have is because I slid the screen by mistake. I did my wife's phone. No gaps present. It's closer to the top. That was my bad when I paced the rubber block
thanks for the tutorial, i just finished the installation but i left the square white rubber piece for more than 30 seconds i believe 1 minutes, and it left a a very light white mark, is it going to disappear ?
The WSD for my s²² Ultra seemed brittle 🤔 I've been through x4 since launch date and i do baby my phone's and carry them in a vertical lined belt holster. It picked up nicks along the edges too easily so hopefully the WSD for the s²³ series is better quality. The rubber part is new 🤔 When I fitted mine after the first curing I gently pressed down on the fingerprint scanner area and then second cured. After my 4th WSD picked up yet another nick I've moved to the official Samsung Tpu Screen Protector which feels awesome and works 100% with the scanner. Thank you for sharing your fitting experience. so my issue was when i set the screen down and placed the block over the sensor area that the liquid would seep out and over the screen and would get underneath the block making a sloppy mess. had to clean up then replace only for it to happen again so i placed a little towel under the block to absorb the liquid. pretty annoying tbh .worst part was getting the mic covered.... that part was a pain and am paraniod that i didnt do it right and have that liquid inside the speaker...
Then you're doing it wrong. You supposed to put the glue on the phone screen, then the glass, then the block. Only used 1 tube of glue. Did you even read the instruction or watch the video?? It's not rocket science...
What is incorrect in the video is the placement of the strips on the jig. Along with the strip on the sides one should be installed at the bottom. Worst case scenario you get LOCA, the glue, on the edges of your phone once your completely done. Just peel the glue off, it will come off easily if peeled off.
