Madam Cheris who had served at a particular prestigious B.Ed. institution too has been loved by all her former students for her way of teaching, kindness, understanding and her vast knowledge. I must say that this school is very fortunate to have a teacher like her. Government schools should have teacher like her; dedicated, sincere, loyal and possesses all other required qualities of a teacher.

For once let's stop with "govt schools have more qualified teachers" thing. Only a tiny fraction of the teaching community has been appointed through exams. Also, teaching is a holistic process; a teacher need to be safe and sound both physically and mentally, the amount of stress or bullshittry that a teacher goes through is immense. Govt schools (except this one) have no benches and desks, table, not even proper roofs and ceilings, and most of all 2 or three teachers running the schools. The department puts the blame on 'proxy teacher' for their failure in providing basic necessities for schools to function.
For instance, it's mid April now and many students are yet to receive books and uniforms. Regarding uniforms, let's not expect 'designer clothes' but same size cannot fit for LKG to High school students.

Dimapur is a commercial hub of Nagaland. It's every Govt. job holder's dream to get posting in Dimapur/Kohima.Some gets lucky whereas some get transfer orders with the aid of the political background and so why proxy?? So go for the remote areas. ✌🏻

Private school in nagaland are good n it's not because of private tuition but it is because of the hard work of the private teacher

Lol. The main reason is that all the bright students with all the facilities from private tuition to time etc.. They goes to study in private school.
Bring the same private teacher to teach government school students . He/she will fail.
Private school performance is good because of private tuition. I give tuition to private school students and they don’t learn anything from school so I have to explain every single word in detail to my students so the main credit goes to tuition teachers.

The Department has a very strict required criteria for subject teachers for all private schools but is blind at the shortages of teachers in its own schools. This perhaps could be one reason for poor performance of Govt schools.
