- Dimapur’s Supermarket, Wednesday Bazaar Acts As One Stop Market For Pedestrians. While The People And Vendors Are Hooked With Dealings And Businesses, Ddadu Office And Nearby Areas Seem To Be Disturbed By Some Vendors Due To Congested Space In Some Respective Areas.

its sad that we all aspire for a better Nagaland , but our own local businessmen and women think about becoming rich in a single day, from small ventures to big businesses.
-'Take or leave' attitudes for unreasonable prices.
- The differences in prices we charge comparing to those of the non locals are laughable, for the same quality, quantity and services.... from small stalls to photo copy and related services to groceries, from general stores to clothing stores and showrooms.( I wonder if we even give time to think why a comfortable majority of successful business in nagaland are run by non locals)
-charging above MRPs in some cases( yes, there are cases , and consumers can file a complain but no one wants to take the trouble for a few rupees which in turn encourage unreasonable price hiking , ultimately impacting poor consumers.
-Most youths prefer to stay unemployed rather than picking up small jobs that apparently seem undignified.
My view is a constructive criticism only and I wish to see good come to our people, though i also don't wish bad for the non-locals who are doing well in our state.
I don't intend to generalize our entire population for unwise business planning.
There are tons of locals who're doing well with reasonable dealings.
But if there's so much of noise heard on the mentioned issues, there's actually a problem with us, and hence a reflection is really necessary.

Our people are NON-NEGOTIABLE. That is the reason. Starting from autos to shops/ vendors owners are very persistent and unable to approach.

Agreed. Our attitude in the first place. Secondly non persistent in doing business and thirdly not enough land for farming. It doesn't mean i don't support locals I always do but there are various factors that compel our people to undertake such business.

I once took auto from half nagarjan to new bridge near ( purana bazar )and the auto driver was a naga and charge me rs100 and then from same spot I took another auto to half nagarjan and this time the driver was non local and he charge only 60 plus he drop me till my gate. I don't live in Dimapur so I wasn't aware of the auto fare. But how come for the same distance local charges me rs100 and non local charges me 60.!?

Brother's and sister's of Nagaland, just wanna share a review on super market. I as a Meer citizen would like to comment about the present market functionalities. I come across selling all kinds of commodities at super market which is awesome. I hope the trees which use to provide shelter and recently cut be planted and the market scenario where all kinds of food stuff sold be rearrange or modernize would be great. Selling of food items mixed together na na nu... Dog meat which is our favorite 😋 yummy!!! but maybe not to others and fish, pork etc should be on a specific location o. Dimapur which is our soul heart of business, must be precise so that other districts of Nagaland can follow. You are the best Dimapuriann's 👍🤳 Let do it. 💪
