Hyliion's linear generator technology holds promise for efficiently producing low-emissions electricity for electric vehicle charging and a host of other applications. The challenge is successfully scaling 3D printing for parts so intricate they could not be made any other way.

Great tour. Thank you so much for that. I’m gobbling up more shares come Monday morning

Great video! Appreciated both the detailed explanations and not shying away from the company pivot. Hoping they can make this happen!

The CEO and CTO are great engineers. I think that they should have strong marketing guys in the team as well so that they can build their customer base. Also, it was interesting to note that Karno comes from the Carnot cycle that is taught in any basic course on thermodynamics. It was also fascinating to note the usage of 3D printing to create intricate heat exchangers. I think I am talk about this in my basic thermodynamics and heat transfer courses that I teach at a university 🙂🙂

I wish Hyliion would do more deep dives like this themselves to dispel all the FUD out there. Pretty sure GE (their major investor) had a lot to do with their shift to Karno from ERX, once they get these going and battery and loan prices come down they can probably shift back to putting these in the semi tractors instead of crossing their fingers the Cummins range extenders continue to meet CARB standards.

What Additive Manufacturing(AM) company does HYLN partner with??

Everything I've seen on their shop floor looks like Concept Laser GmbH (a division of GE Additive since 2016).

Oh great, so it could use any fuels, right? can I use firewood to generate electricity with this puppy then?

Technically you could. It used the heat produced from the fuel source for the electricity generation, as opposed to the combustion source itself. If there was a way to transfer the heat from the wood fire to the generator, it would work.

A wood gasification furnace would do it, add sawdust and logging waste, which is practically free, and it becomes a very interesting supplemental power source for logging sights and lumber mills! There are few farms that use it also to run emergency generators.

If this fails, it's game over. Hope you guys cover their bankruptcy. Great interview.

That’s the risk we take as investors. This isn’t the scared money table that you’re daddy invested in

They have GE money and support backing this, why do you think they kicked the Cummins range extender dead end to the curb.

Let me know when Tommy starts buying Hyliion stocks with his own money from the bonus checks he wrote to him himself.

Healy is the largest individual Hyliion shareholder, ~18.5% of the market shares. ~33% of Hyliion Holdings is owned by other insiders. The balance is owned by institutional and retail investors.

Glad you didn't talk about sales and profitability because no shareholder cares about that. That was a lab? Looked like you were at an estate sale. Gosh this is like a practical joke! I bet the customers this year aren't paying just like the 20 ERX customers! This is criminal!
