- This is a series of Fusion exercises that focus on sketching. The idea is to take a technical drawing and reproduce it in Fusion - a process that mirrors how I frequently use the software, as I create sketches on paper or physical models and translate those measured drawings/objects to 2D sketches and 3D models in Fusion.
I'd suggest taking a stab at making the sketch before you watch me do it. Here is a link to the index feed drawing: www.dropbox.co... (you do not need a Dropbox account to view or download the file)
I wouldn't have thought of a chamfer for that cut. Nice! Thanks for making me aware of that capability.
Nice chamfersollution, I didn't know that. When you tried to put the counterbore in, you could have referencend from the sides of that surface. This way you didn't have to go through the trouble of sketching a point. Just another idea.
Thanks for the comment. Can explain what you mean, re: referencing from the sides of the surface?
@@RobDuarte When inserting a hole, you have the possibillity too 2 referenceitems. You can use 1 for e.g. leftside and 1 for e.g. top. You don't have too make a sketch or sketchitem to place the hole. It's all in the hole-menu as "reference".
Woah, thanks! I've never used that feature and you're right, it would've been perfect there.
@@RobDuarte Never too old to learn 😁
Who are you calling old! 😂
