Good review! A lot of people think all HF stuff is junk, but most of it is well worth the money. I bought an angle grinder from them for $10 about four years ago and I still use it to this day.
W.Co.VIDS i Have had bad luck with their cheap grinders But I use grinders for cutting alot and that is hard on them Most of their hand tools are good enough for home shop use
I'm using my Dad's Craftsman pole trimmer, its probably 25 years old if not older. They are nice to have. He still borrows it from time to time. Its git that sawtooth pull blade, but it will flex if it gets pinched. Nice pole saw you have there, it will serve you well. Its a swamp here too.... I should have planted a water garden.
Craig Arndt The blade on this does saw OK it is flimsy but I'm used to my other back saws so I'm careful not to bend it Some of the reviews on it mentioned bending it but I was sure it matters how you saw wth it Thanks for Watching I hope the rain stops it rained enough in May we need a break from it
Among my vast arsenal of tree cutting/trimming equipment, with my pole saw I learned very quickly that due to the angle of the cut on the higher branches, those overhead branches want to defenitely come MY way when falling. VERY important to remember when cutting say a 4" plus diameter branch. Be careful.
I've got a heavy duty Corona saw blade on my pruner that has those double row teeth. Cuts like a dream, and the steel is stiff as a freakin sword. Definitely built to bring some shit down out of the canopy. I like many of those Harbor Freight tools though.
The tree trimmer part works good with a tougher rope on it...The saw sucks it is cheap and dulll I have a Tabor brand saw and it will eat through small branches with ease ..has the hardened super sharp teeth
Harbor Freight stopped their 20% coupon and I stopped going to Harbor Freight every weekend. As cheap as the tools are there the loss of the coupon stopped me from going there.
if you like to work I DON't i use a shotgun to trim em or a pole electric chainsaw FIGHT THE BLADE SAWING WEARS YA OUT > REPLACE THE ROPE WITH CABLE Just super glue to lock use water to unlock the nuts

The poles lock by twisting ..you should be able to twist both of them and slide them out and twist to tighten
