Do I really need the Kemper and Footswitch tho? I just want to find out if I need anything except the looper and a guitar going in to my audio interface
Thanks for another great video Ben. I was switched on to the pacer from one of your earlier vids which really helped me to hit the ground running. My set up is PACER usb to Logic Pro for DAW control, Pacer Midi to the Boss RC-505 over 3 presets and RC-505 is looped in to FX loop 1 on my Line 6 Helix. Happy days! Keep up the good work.
My Guitar Speaker has an Headphone Jack Output. If I connecting my Headphones it works fine but routed to the loopstation I hear nothing. I tryed balanced und unbalanced cables and with an Adapter from 6,3mm to 3,5mm I tryed the aux in on the loop station. Nothing works. Do I need to setting up something to get it working? :)
My situation is morphing. I have a Hotone Ampero and a Alesis VI49 I want to hook up to the RC-505. Could I patch in the Ampero into the L/R Input to loop Guitar? And should I connect via Midi to the RC-505 for the Alesis? Or should I stick to USB to my computer.
heyie Ben thanks you very much for youre energetic information movies!! super information. i wanne ask i buy this loop station in this year 2021 februari, and he is full now, so i try to put the numbers out true the computer, but discover that al the songs are split in 5 tracks and without the beat i record it. i wish so much that i can listeing to my songs the same way as true my loop station. can you mabe help me? happy gretings Jozefien from the Netherlands!
Hi Ben. Great video but being disabled means I can't use my feet. I play guitar and bought the RC 505 because I can't use my feet and want to loop with my hands but getting from the guitar to the loop button gets awkward because my hands can't be in two places at once. Help, please?
Great video. I do have one concern though. If I use an external foot switch, can I still use my hands on the buttons, or does using the foot switch limit me to only the foot switch?
@@BenRowlandsMusic yeah man I'm subscribed. I've been using just one track loopers for guitar but I want the flexibility of recording different length loops. Hadn't thought about using a pedal with the rc 505 until today then found your videos when I searched.
Man. My rc 505 doesnt have a rich sound. I dont know what I should do to improve the quality. I tried with aux in, instrument and usb in.. doesnt worked. Somebody has any idea? Thanks for the help
Hi Ben, thank you for all your useful information. Can I ask you please, is there a way to change a patch number ( up and down ) on the RC 505 using the FS 6 footswitch? Cheers, Joe
You are really the best bro! Thank you so much ! I asked you a question in Instagram about the Rc-300, would love to hear your answer when you got some time. and again - thank you so much, I really appreciate you so much and learning from you every day :)
Hello Ben! im an ableton user on windows! also guitarist and psytrance producer! i love doing live acts! should i get the boss rc505 or should i only get a midi footswitch.. i also use some other midi controllers to controlle drones/ acid lines and an apc40... im not the richest person so i need to think what i really need! a tip of yours would help me! Greetings from switzerland Nic
Gee thanks Ben. Im sharing this with a friend. Don’t forget some better amps have an FX loop or Pre amp/ Amp out on a TRS jack which might get around the mic problem you mentioned. Some amps also have a bit of amp modeling built in. Keep up the great work man👍 Jb x
Hey man I'm really new to this. My setup right now is the my guitar going to my overdrive pedal then into my rc505 then out to my regular guitar amp. The plan is to play clean rythmn with electric lead over it. But when I play lead it really dosent sound right. It's like the sound is not fully there. Even when I adjust the volumes. It still sounds like shit
here's a thing bring a large rug or off cut carpet then set up on the that you can then walk in your socks and not worry about dirt and nails on the stage. after the gig just roll it up and sling it in with you gear
fuck!!! you are my new hero! finally someone who talks about disgusting toes or socks on the pedals! thanks dude, keep going on, your video are funy and nice! yeaaah

you literally answer nothing that anyone shouldnt already understand if theyre purchasing something like this. i need to figure out why its not sending my guitar to the amp sim and just directly out the monitors. when i set it to go through the amp sim in my daw i just get feedback out the amp sim and its still playing directly out my monitors.
I've seen plenty of people using the 505 on a table top or stand while playing guitar without having to buy all this other crap or get bogged down with mapping it out.
ur channel is so underrated!! thank u for all the valuable info!
Thank you very much! That means a lot! Glad you enjoy the videos!
Thank you. I've been using looper pedals with my foot. This seems like a nice one to try.
Thanks for the info... The RC505 and Nektar Pacer looks like the perfect combo for my setup... 🙂
One of Sebastian Bach's British kids he had with a groupie whilst touring . Glad to see the rocker style goin strong . Great vids Dude ! 🔥
Do I really need the Kemper and Footswitch tho?
I just want to find out if I need anything except the looper and a guitar going in to my audio interface
Will these essentials work for the Boss RC 505 MK2?
Hey Ben! how would i do this with the RC505MK2? i've been searching everywhere and i can't find one video, starting to give up haha!!
Would you still use the midi foot pedal with the digital amp head?
Exactly the video I needed. I just ordered it and I need to know what I need
quality vid mate, pretty much answered every question I had in one swift movement!
Glad it helped! Thanks for watching!!
Why did you choose the pacer over the fs1010?
Does the Pacer connect to the 505 with a usb cable or a midi cable?
Thanks for another great video Ben. I was switched on to the pacer from one of your earlier vids which really helped me to hit the ground running. Nice!! Sounds like a great setup! Really utilising the MIDI options on the Pacer!

you said 2 out of 16 options you can map to you FS6, what are the 16 options?
Thanks for clear and very concise tutorial awesome
Is it possible somehow to use the fs-6 for the whole channels?
Hi Ben. Great video but being disabled means I can't use my feet. I play guitar and bought the RC 505 because I can't use my feet and want to loop with my hands but getting from the guitar to the loop button gets awkward because my hands can't be in two places at once. Help, please?
Can this be linked up to a simple guitar amp for output, or do you have to use monitors?
You can use just a guitar amp.
Great video. I do have one concern though. If I use an external foot switch, can I still use my hands on the buttons, or does using the foot switch limit me to only the foot switch?
Yes you can! You can still use the RC-505 like normal. You just get to expand its functions with the foot pedals! Great combination!
Thank you 🙏🏻 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻You just saved me a bunch of time and Money!!!!
Thanks, man. That was really helpful
Awesome. Thank you a lot man!
Glad it helped! Thanks for watching!

Why do this instead of just getting the rc600?

Hi Ben, will the Korg EC5 controller work with the 505? Thanks!
Did you ever try this?
Okay.. so you can't put the pedal before the amp?
Gee thanks Ben. Im sharing this with a friend.

Thanks for the tip man! Glad you loved the video!
That sounds like a good idea. I have a Hugh's kettner 36. I'm wondering if this will work on that. My 505 will be here in a couple days

Why not connect the guitar directly to the RC-505?
