My friend, you have become one of my favorite YT channels. I am a 60 year old guitarist who stopped playing about 5 years ago and ready to start making music again because of people like you who inspire. My probelm is my apt and studio is so unorganized I literally cried everyday because it seems like an impossible task to get organized. When you said it took 3 days to get your place setup, that means it will take me close to 3 weeks because I have so much gear, chords, paperwork, that I know once I am organized my life will become so much better. I saw you almost cry when you said you have not been organized lately and it's time to change. Those words impacted me more than your beautiful music. I know all I need to do is 2 hours a day everyday for 2 to 3 weeks. It's just so hard to get started. As a reward when I get this done I am buying a Godin Multivac. I LOVE the sound of your guitar. So sweet. Plus I love MIDI guitars I have two Godin electric guitars with built in Fishman Triple Play Wireless MIDI pickup which I used to use in my studio when it was setup and organized. I could control all my hardware & software synths with my guitar so I totally get you. Let me ask you something and sorry for such a long post. If you were going to buy a looper pedal today would you get the new Roland 600 or 505Mk11? Same with guitar synth. Would go with the GR-55? I am going to put a system together and rig really tough deciding on which looper to purchase. I did see a video today where you had the Boss A/B pedal on floor and used your foot to control the looper so I realize you don't necessarily need a floor based looper. I will stop now as this is too long. And congrats on your success. I saw a video earlier today when I saw you giving away a gift when you hit 10,000 subscribers. Looks like you hit your goal because at 27,000 today. You will be at 100,000 within a year🙏
I am in the same place as you month ago - trying to choose between Roland 600 and 505MkII. My train of thought is that I am nearsighted and can hardly imagine trying to tweak anything on a pedal that is sitting of the floor - I won't be able to read the screen, and will have to reach for the knobs on the floor while holding my guiltar, it just doesn't make sense to me. I think I am leaning to 505MkII + separate pedals, as Andreas shows in his video.
Hello my friend, Thanks for this comment. I’m glad to be one of your favorite channels and I really hope you start playing again. Organization is tough but don’t let the thought overwhelm you. Instead work on a few things one day and a few more the next one. Buy a label maker and plastic bins and group like items and it will make your life easier. Also get rid of false ideas such as “I can do this because I need to do that”… I do that a lot and sometimes this is just an arbitrary order of things we make up and believe as an ultimate truth. Regarding gear, I have not done research or try any of the new products so I couldn’t tell you, but eventually I will have to research and maybe update but for now I’m happy with what I have. Cheers and I hope you keep playing 🎸
@@tendercrab hi! I have never tried the Roland, and the 505 just works. Having the looper in front of me is handy and with the foot controller then that’s all I need. Cheers!
So happy to see the sub numbers climb as more people spread the word about this superb content! Can’t wait to see the ATEM Pro in action on the live streams. 👍🏼
Improvising all dynamics to compose a song is a very unique quality not all musicians share. ...but if you want something done right, you must do it yourself. Great job.
I was looking everywhere for the mounting plate for my camera, until I looked on my camera...yup, it was on the camera. But, it made me clean my place, too. Not bending over to the floor to adjust your looper is a plus, too. The audience just loves seeing the top of your head for 30 seconds at a time. The best thing about the 505? The user interface. TC Helicon makes a better sounding looper(24bit vs 16bit on the 505), with great vox preamps, but that Boss interface was the keeper for me. My wish for the LoopStation? Metal body and better quality faders. Blessings.
I’ve had mine a year now, love it, I spend more time on it than my korg Kronos. Also I found it uses a micro SD card for storage, so I upgraded mine from 4gig to 32 gig.
Hello, I also have rc505 and its true that size matter ;) I found AEROS Loop Studio. It looks amazing and it has size for pedalboard, I didnt try it yet.. maybe its challange for you, for new video content ;) merry looping and happy new boss
I went with the RC-500. Much less disruptive than the 505. But still a bear of a transition from the RC-30. Also, programmable with the FS-6. I can’t loop with my hands. The RC-500 stays on the floor. Keep on rocking! You sound awesome.
This sealed it for me thank you!!! You exampled exactly what I questioned was easily possible in creating ambient sound healings with multiple instruments and harmonizing my own voice. So excited!

Man!! Thanks for this video. I've watched so many on the RC 505, and yours is the easiest to understand. I had given up on getting one because it just seemed too complicated. But your breakdown lit the fire again.. And your outro loop was fantastic!!
I was fascinated at how Reinhardt was using the RC505 Loop Station, but could not understand what he was doing, now you, in one video, showed us CLEARLY all scenarios to use this, wow, thank you so much. Subbed, and yeah, who wants to do the shaker for 3 minutes !
Love watching you and @dovydas using that looper. The one thing I would like to see them add (as an amateur sound tech guy) is stereo outs for all five tracks so you you can record them into a DAW and tweak individual tracks after if necessary before creating a final recording.
Dude, this is the 2nd video of yours that I'm watching on this unit...you've got me wanting one now! And beautiful playing! I'd definitely use that FS6 pedal. I'm often playing and singing, and I'll usually record a loop on the 2nd chorus before the solo part so that I can solo over that. So my clicks have to be quick!

I picked up one of those a few months ago. It's way more looper than I currently need, but I have room to grow with it. My favorite feature is to start a track and not recording till I start playing. It's also really nice to have the progress bar light up showing you where you are in the loop. I agree that Boss should make one in a foot pedal version instead of a table top.

@donfredu ✌️🤠👍
You make i look far too easy. Great vid!
Andres, why did you get the 505mk2 over the RC-600 a foot operated unit? I am trying to decide which one to get,I am closer to the 505mk2.
You are more of a keyboardist than a guitarist. Good job and impressive!
What bass guitar did you use? I didn't see it in your music gear lineup and I need something small and with a good, firm low-end sound.
Brilliant video, great explanation
This was great! What is this mini bass? Thanks!
please tell me where i can get the mini acoustic bass you're playing in this video
Andres, or anyone... what is that cute and very silky smooth acoustic bass guitar?
Wonderful music and video - thanks so much.
Hi! The Ortega UkeBass Lizard series Thanks!
Good one Andres! Thanks.
Great demo of this product.
nice one!!
nice touch on the guitar...tasty notes! Really powerful with a song that is always the same beat, chords etc...
but how good is it if there is a Intro, verse and chorus?
the boss 202 is that size! (only 2 tracks tho... and mine has no faders :( )
great video Bro. what's your thoughts about headrush looper board?
Do you know the RC 505 MK2 is out now. It’s killer man.
How is the sound quality? Great video. Sir
Great explanation.
Don't forget to unplug the pedal controller or the battery will be used up. Are you going to get into keyboard synthesizers too?
rkoz55 Haha it already happened! So I took the battery out and used a little cable that connects as it it was a 9v battery and plugs right into my voodoo lab power... so now is unlimited power! Never tried keyboard synths
