    My name is Ricardo Mazza, and I was born in Brazil. I remember perfectly this so Sad august 16 1977. I was 12 years old. And I was playng in a friend neiboor house.rougly 8 pm. I got back home, and I go never ever forget that cene.Just when I came in the TV room my Mother was crying.And I asked her.Whats going on mom?
    She said me Elvis died. I got shocked and bearly sleep that night.
    In the next day my aunt and got home. And all us cried watching Elvis show on TV. My father gave me Elvis album disc, and all magazines about Élvis.
    And since that fated day I ve been listening Elvis musics everyday.
    Some times I cry, some times I sing.But something deep inside my heart changed forever. Elvis planted love into our hearts and taught for all us through his life as to be real, humble and generous.
    I love Elvis Presley.I love USA.
    You got spread knowledge and love for all us.Thank you dear by this awesome work.

    Hands down spa guy, do you know why you're so great? You're the only individual on the internet that creates these miniature documentaries following the steps of Elvis. Your videos are really intriguing, and you think like a real Elvis fan does. It is something that we won't let go. You are excellent at what you do and I really appreciate discovering each and every new topic that I find very interesting. Here's another fact, Elvis would be very proud of you you represent him well. Excellent job sir.

    Thank you for all your videos, I watch every one you post. I've always been an Elvis fan since I was 8/9 years old, grew up with him. Others may have come and gone, but Elvis goes on forever with me. I was fortunate enough to visit Graceland, Tupelo and many sites associated with Elvis last year and I now revisit my trip through your videos and also learn a lot more about him too. Please keep the videos coming. A devoted fan from the UK.

    Thanks Boss. Always enjoy these. I always find a bit of sadness in them as my mind sees Elvis as a prisoner of his own success in a way. I can still see the Dutch gentleman saying Elvis gave more than he got in one of your videos past. I think that was very true and coming from someone that lived across the ditch makes it all the more important. Thanks again.

    thank you so much billy for this fantastic video (as usual)!
    I am very proud to be part of it!!
    May i share a comment from Maurice Elliott (administrative staff at baptist Memorial hospital , Memphis1962-1987)(C.E.O, Methodist healthcare, Memphis 1987-2005) from THE ELVIS MAP =
    "Elvis and Priscilla came to the hospital to deliver their baby.I really admired him- he was very polite, undemanding and down-to-earth."
    "When he, Priscilla and Lisa Marie left the hospital i looked up at the 18 story patient tower as they were getting into their car. There was literally someone looking down from every patient window."
    "Elvis, himself, was hospitalized six times over the next ten years.With each hospitalization we received an avalanche of inquiries from news media and fans all over the world.No event at the hospital could compare with the excitement created by the presence of Elvis."
    "Elvis came to be known and admired by employees throughout the hospital. He and his staff were Always polite and friendly.Elvis was obviously much more than the patient in room 1802."

    Actually it was 2 days between Elvis’s death and funeral. Elvis passed on Tuesday afternoon Aug. 16, 1977 the funeral was Thursday Aug. 19th. His body was never in the big building it was in a smaller building on the southwest corner of the property, that is where the prep room was located where they embalm and dress the body. It can be seen in many photos where the body is leaving for Graceland on Wednesday morning, Aug. 17, 1977. Hope that adds a little more to the information. I really enjoy your work, thank you.

      @SpaGuy  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry but the rural was the 18th not the 19th.. from the time he was found to the time he as place in the mausoleum was 51-52 hours.. I agree he was in the embalming building in the back which was part the Memphis Funeral Home as illustrated.. I appreciate the help attempt but you need to go back and see what I am saying is correct..

    • @Poppz1000
      @Poppz1000 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Spa Guy Yes my bad, his death was Tuesday the 16th and burial 2 days later which was the 18th not 19th. I worked at the Funeral Home part time while attending Ole Miss. I worked the funeral from the time he arrived at the Funeral Home until after the burial. On Friday the 19th I was on my way back to Ole Miss for football as a student manager.

    Great video Billy! I say in my video that Elvis attended Red's father's funeral the very next day after Gladys'. That's a good friend considering his own grief he was suffering. Also, Gladys died practically next door to the funeral home in the Methodist Hospital although that looks a lot different to hiw it did back in 58.

    • @SpaGuy
      @SpaGuy  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes you are correct Methodist was to the left of this funeral home and back further on that plot of land.. They basically built the new hospital in front of it and them tore the old one down the is why the new one is right at the street..

And now to this day in the year of our LORD 2019, Mr. SPAGUY traces the sad plight of a fallen great KING and ditto that of mommy GLADYS that plunge another teardrop in my eyes. Very good video on Elvis trivia Mr. Spa Guy...thanks.
    Nice of Elvis to attend Red's father's funeral considering his own tragic grief he was going through at the time. Did you not cover part of this before on the hospital and funeral home when doing the video on the trip the ambulance took to the now torn down "Baptist Hospital" that they took from Graceland the day Elvis died ? Maybe it was a different funeral home. I will have to go back and look at that video. Anyway another interesting video. How you have time to do all this investigations and videos is beyond me ! Thanks to those that help you. Keep up the great work. Noticed your Jeep. Still haven't sold the old "Gray Ghost" yet ? These are super cool!. You've rekindled my interest in elvis. I was only 5 years old when he died and I don't remember anything much about it; other than my parents euphemisms to me that he died of eating too much icecream! I loved his music when I was little because of my mother's love of it. Funny thing is, I always knew how old Elvis would've been had he lived, because my dad was born the same year as elvis. Unfortunately he passed of brain cancer in 2012 but he lived a wonderful life. I watched those bill Bixby specials about the conspiracy theory and needless to say I always wanted to go to Kalamazoo Michigan to see if I could find him! Lol

    Another great video, Spa Guy. Reminds me of seeing the video of Elvis's nurse, Marion Cocke, watching the implosion of Baptist Memorial. People were cheering and carrying on while she stood alone being very emotional watching it crumble. Very sad...

    Billy, thank you so much for this great video and for sharing the dates of Elvis and his Mother's deaths. I don't know why so many people thought that they were the same age and passed on the same day. Guess they didn't check out the facts, but The Spa Guy always aims for accuracy and I as an Elvis fan really appreciate it. God Bless.

    The old school Catholics had three-day funerals. You would have a viewing day one, day two in the evening, would be the rosary. Day three was a final viewing in the morning, off to the church and then to the cemetery. A lot of processions would leave the funeral home, drive past the deceased house for the final time and finally to the cemetery. Wish the funeral home was still around.
