How cool that you share your adventures in You Tube. Great videos! Congratulations on crossing the Equator! Looking forward to more videos on your adventures! Blessings and fair winds. :)
Very big congratulations to you both to get to Galapagos and to leave all the tribulations in your wake ( I am sure ). When you crossed the Equator with a cheer ,it brought a tear to my eye remembering exactly that same feeling in 1999 when I was doing it on my Fontaine Pajot! We had no wind that year ,but a Frenchman in St Marteens had sold me an enormous lightweight double genoa that I rigged to fit on the one furling headstay and we could make 5 knots with that. I am going to really really enjoy your next excellent videos as my memories are a blurr. And vids gone when I had my Mutiny in Tonga. 'The Mermaid'' yatchtie bar/restaurant WAS THE place to meet up un Vavaau ,Tonga. I heard they had a cyclone and it burnt down in the meantime, but I have a strong feeling you will be made very welcome in " The Friendly Islands". I was and spent 3 years there. Cheers , and miles of happy tradewind sailing I wish for you. In some ways this is the best bit! Mark " Alchemy' xxxxx
My little sister, Carol, lives just North of the Panama Canal on the Gulf Dulce in Costa Rica. She has an animal shelter. Too bad you couldn't have met her, you would have really enjoyed her. Maybe another time. Safe passage
I was thinking, bringing a power washer would have been a good idea, decided to watch until the end before I comment... power washer going brrr.... ;-)
Hi Guys - were ahead of you sailing on one of the Oysters - - Ruth 2 ( part of the Oyster World Rally ) Same route Panama - Galapagos - Marquesas Islands - Rangiroa - Rimatara - Atoils worth a visit - Bora Bora now - Some videos up on youtube on my channel - Andrew Sarratt of where we were - might be of interest - We had the boobie Birds also on our passage -lots of cleaning the next day !! - Love the vids - safe sailing and enjoy the Pacific - its just magic Andrew
I love your channel and want to encourage you to keep it up! Your drone shots and videos while underway are really excellent and easy to lose myself to. One area of improvement if I could make a suggestion though? Volume leveling. I couldn't tell you how to do it but when watching a segment I adjust my volume to the right level for me and then a new clip comes in and the volume almost doubles and I have to rush to turn it down again. Next segment its too quiet. Repeat. Again, I really like your work and am enjoying things, can't believe you caught back up to the fleet. I was expecting everyone to look exhausted and it doesn't look like that happened.
@@CatGreatcircle i do that so the crew can learn but like my old friend told me when docking when i was sailing his boat for him "i would rather put my own holes in the boat" hahaha
@@CatGreatcircle i only wish for a captain like you because i never owned a spinnaker and want to learn that when i am able to get my next sailboat at age 72 i need something very comfortable like a neel trimaran with smoother motion like your cat. I need to buy a home to dock it because i don't sleep good while traveling. I don't know if i could tolerate overnight passages anymore. I did two passages from Tampa Florida to Panama city Florida after buying a boat in Tampa....i don't think i ever slept a wink.....i began to hallucinate. Thought i saw trees on the horizon and we were miles from shore
Whahaha de theedoek🤭 You have made it. Thank you for the beautiful footage. Safe crossings👏👍

Good thing you brought a power washer, I would hate to have to clean that by hand. 😁
I was thinking, bringing a power washer would have been a good idea, decided to watch until the end before I comment... power washer going brrr.... ;-)
Unfortunately even the power washer wasn’t enough to get it off 🙈
Heel blij voor jullie keep going prima videos en ik kan je emotie begrijpen Marijke TOP
Happy for you catching up with the fleet. I bet you'll be at the front of the pack soon enough 😊😁👍🇺🇸
😎
You all need to charge those birds a passage fee 🤣😂🤣😂👍👍
They can pass as often as they want as long as they take their belongings along 🙈
@@CatGreatcircle 😂🤣😂🤣
That's awesome!!!

What’s your top 3 between Nuku Hiva and Bora Bora
@@CatGreatcircle Rangiroa Top - great diving - Raiatea - lots of Achourages Moorea - small - Bora Bora more commercial
Beautiful!
The sleeping seal at the end... :-)
Almost as cute as Thomas wasn’t she?
@@CatGreatcircle I'm not into guys, so I can't really comment on that. Some ladies might agree with you, though. ;-)
😂😂
I wish I had these ultra expensive problems.
🤣🤣🤣

Yep it’s still strange what happens with the audio levels when exporting
For 24 hours did you have to do the full check-in with fumigation of the boat and immigration and all?
We had a certificate from Panama and checkin was the easiest ever not sure that this is the full procedure even for 24h stops
👍✌️
👏👍⚓️
I found the " LIKE" Button, but where's the " LOVE" Button?
I seem to have a button like that
👏👍🏻
on my boat if i had one now the captain don't drive....only supervises...captain only docks the boat and for leaving the dock.
Yes I heard of boats and/or captains like that. On our boat all the captains have to work
@@CatGreatcircle i do that so the crew can learn but like my old friend told me when docking when i was sailing his boat for him "i would rather put my own holes in the boat" hahaha
