Great episode. The aerial scenes with the drone are fantastic, the group gathering and music were the best. You made me feel if I were present with you. Thank you Mark and Marijke for providing us this experience. Love you guys💥💥💥💥💥👍🏾💥
Suggestion for an upcoming video: On a day when there is significant wind chop take your AST 340 out, along w/ other rally boats who have the OC Tender and the Highfield Classic and film them from a drone all running through the same chop and your own wakes. Would love to see how they compare in handling the rougher conditions. Lots of folks out here trying to make a decision on our next tender. Thanks!!
Maybe we had a fragment like that in the Bora Bora episode where we had to go 5 miles to the other side of the island with the OC from Endless and the Highfield of Inky
Just had a look at the AIS tracker and looks like you might be on the Hard getting the rudder fixed ?? Also just wondering if you have come across ARCHER in Fiji as that were she was headed after being sold in Sydney
Great video! Would be very interesting if you guys could do a generic video on your cruising budget/expenses over the past year sailing on your gorgeous O55. They always talk about boats costing 10% of their value every year, but watching your adventures it doesn’t seem it would be super expensive (once the boat is paid for of course 😬)
The biggest expenses by far are the insurance (18k/year) and the 2 incidents (Panama Canal and hitting the reef in Fiji) that were on our own expense. In addition to that less than 1000 liters of diesel and only a couple of marina fees as we’re always on anchor. So even with the accidents it’s still below 3%
@@CatGreatcircle Thank you so much for the reply! This is what I had thought would be the answer but great to get your confirmation. We are building a very similar type of cat and it’s good to hear even with a few challenges your expenses are very reasonable. Safe travels & keep up the fantastic videos!
Thanks for that answer very informative…who do you use for insurance may I ask, and as I’m fairly new sorry if this has been asked before (if so just point me) but what do you use for internet and cost? Many thanks!
You always do such a good job with the music choices, it really settles my restless mind. How often do you two lose track of the days of the week? That's gotta fell good.
Now we were waiting on the new rudder and parts we were quite conscious about the days (the box just arrived) but you’re totally right normally it’s not very relevant
We only can dream through this video ! Thanks a lot
My favorite sailors. I will follow.
You still have the best photography and videography of any sailing channel. Its simply gorgeous.
Thanks, this morning though I saw videos from Gunboat 48 Vela and that’s still a whole other level…

Dus als Paul het kan kunnen jullie het zeker toch?
Maybe it's because we're not actually there but I'm ready for some civilization again.
Hippies! Back to the days of James Wharram and Hanneke Boon

Yes we’re in Vuda on the hard, the new parts just arrived today. Haven’t seen Archer yet.

Helvetia is our insurance via the French broker Satec. We use local SIM cards for internet, costs are very different per country
Offshore we use the iridium go

Lovely videos, thanks!
Have you heard comments on Watt & Sea generators?
Some people are really happy with it. We feel more comfortable having the genset
At this point are you guys running on only one rudder? I'm curious. Is it faster? Might prove that retractible rudders is nice to have.
i imagine the lack of stability would cancel out any possible speed gains
@@Freedom-cm2lo Motorcycles.
Don’t think retractable rudders are an option as the lateral forces are already to big to install a skeg
