I'm replacing the pressure hose on my Pontiac Montana 04. It has the same style of pump in the video here and I can't seem to get the nut to cooperate and thread into the pump. I've pulled out the pump and checked the threads in there. The new threads are fine too. Is there something I'm missing? Or is it just magic and luck?
It gave me some trouble. I had to remove the clip holding the lines together so it had more flexibility then made sure the line was pushed all the way in and straight after that the fitting screwed right in. Good luck
welp, I might be doing this very thing. My pump is singing like groaning wild boar. I know my rack pinion unit leaks but not much I can do I dont think.
