I have a Mosquito Sport that has run flawlessly for over 3000-4000 rounds of CCI Mini Mag. I used my Mosquito Sport for target shooting at 25m and 50m. It's great fun to shoot. It doesn't like Winchester ammo, it doesn't like weak ammo (use the right spring) it does like round nose bullets, it doesn't like being dirty or dry and it likes the magazines clean and the follower and pistol slide have to move freely. . Keeping that in mind, mine has run flawlessly for thousands of rounds. I've just ordered a GSG Firefly because of my positive experience with the Mosquito, its inherent good accuracy and it's a load of fun to shoot. It's great for beginners, ladies and young people because it's not too loud and the recoil is almost nonexistent. All the best, Rob in Switzerland
@@onemischiefmaker7032 Hi thanks for viewing and commenting! I have never used Aguila ammo, although it is available here. I have been very happy with CCI Mini Mag and CCI Stinger. I still have several thousand rounds of CCI left so won't need to try anything new for a while. If the Aguila has a round nose and is "hot" enough, I would imagine it would run just fine. Sorry I couldn't help further! All the best, Rob
Good info! Thanks! If I may suggest, your problem with focus on your camera/cell phone is very likely the poor lighting. Put a lamp on both sides of your camera’s subject and that will help a lot. It will also help eliminate the shadowing you see.
Thanks for the info, very smooth slide now and feed ramp. Now on to my Walther p22 same issue, thank god for my TX22, clean mags, silicone mags and 100%
FIREFLY GSG LIGHT STRIKE. AFTER HOUERS I FOUND THE SAFTY WAS THE ISSUE. THE SAFTY BAR HITS THE PIN WITH A SMALL AMOUNT OF VIBRATION. WELL ITS ON THE SLIDE IT HAS ALOT OF VIBRATION. I SHAVED A LITTLE OFF THE BAR AND PIN. NICE GUN HAVE FUN
Interesting that you had the same problem as mine, the second round would never be chambered as the top slide was held back. I thought it may have been the mags, but the trigger binding seems to be the issue. Away to bed in the hammer/topslide. thanks very much for the tip, hopefully this will save me a lot of hassle.
Just paid for a GSG FireFly picking it up today. Moving back to Oklahoma after the summer. Bringing my 4 sons back, so maybe i should trade you channel names lol
It works ;-) Before the fix, I had around 10 problems on a box of 50 bullets. Polished it as described here, cleaned and oiled it again. Shot a full box (50) of SV (Standard Velocity) 40 grains, and didn't have a single issue. I am now happy with the gun again.
I just bought an OD Green Mosquito and it will be here compliments of FedEx 2-2-22. I have a Sig 522 target rifle there and will pick both up at my local FFL This is a good video, what did you use to get the lip polished the way you did or did I miss it in the video?
I left I think I left the shelf aka the lip on it but if you go back to watch a video it tells you everything I did to it I think just let me know if you have any more questions if it's not in the video
So yeah i have taken a file to my hammer because i can get the first bullet to fire but the slide will not come back far enough to unload the old shell and reload a new shell or cock the hammer but im going to try the abrasion paste cause i dont want a single shot pistol i want a auto pistol any suggestions from someone that knows what they are doing

What about Aguila prime super extra bullets? Does they run ok?

I have the firefly. We polished the feed and mostly got rid of the lip. I just installed a new spring tonight. We'll see if it helps
I have now polished the feed ramp, will be interesting to see the difference on the range - will report back

@@Mr._Tony awesome!
I still got my mosquito tactical in FDE color I should have picked up the mosquito sport because of how it looks
it helps to lube with mobile one synthetic motor oil on all semiautos.slicker than gun oil .
I started using 40 grain and it stopped jamming completely.
I have tried two different kinds of 40 grain, and didn't notice any difference - both are jamming way too often
This review, was not annoying. Thank you. Also, my firefly jammed on the second round, did not load next cartridge. 40 grain federal.
Great video
They come with 2 springs. Use the lighter one.

My misquote runs good just keep it lubed problem solved.
I cleaned and then generously lubed mine, found it to be very dry as delivered. However the jamming still happens.
thanks
Just picked mine up today time to polish up and modify before putting some rounds in her
It sucks tho because it’s such a cool gun

Cci stingers might help you with that
I have the fire fly it dose the same thing
Anyone ever had the hammer get stuck. Still has play
Anyone know where I should go to learn how to file down the ramp?
You will never need a file for a finished gun. Honing stones are your best friends when it comes to metal.
GARBAGE GUN
No one cares how much you paid!
Stick with your caption!
Thanks for the info though.
