Hello everyone! Thank you so much for your comments! Please stay tuned as this is a 6 part series and we will be releasing episodes each week. Even more powerful information about this artifact is on the way from Dr. Stripling and Dr. van der Veen.

Very exciting! Hopefully the peer-reviewed article will come out soon, so scholars can further ponder the significance of this find. It seems clear that Moses and Joshua had an early alphabet, so that should eliminate a major argument of the skeptics to traditional dating of the Pentateuch and Joshua!

    Deuteronomy 27:19
One of these very important curses and blessings.

I have been following the news of this find with great interest, having long been studying ancient Hebrew and similar inscriptions (just as an odd hobby) and suspecting from childhood that the Proto-Sinaitic inscriptions related to the Israelites. All I was waiting for was onesuch Proto-Alphabetic inscription to show up with the name Jehovah inscribed thereon, to help be a little more certain of the Israelite connection, or the other contents of such an inscription otherwise specifically related to Biblical events.

Fascinating stuff! I would think that the Patterns of Evidence: The Exodus is sufficiently old and well-recognized that you would release it on TH-cam. Any chance of that happening?

Very interesting. The writing scribed on the tablet, indicates .. if it were written in 1400BC.
... Was the same ancient language of the 10 commandments

Hello @stevenhooser9410. The Associates for Biblical Research team is always looking for volunteers for their digs. We are not sure if this also applies to the MEDS (Mount Ebal Dump Salvage) Project - as this is a special project. However, there is volunteer information on their website and it may be possible to contact the team about this as well and see. Check out these links ⬇

Scriptures say that women who profess Godliness are not to adorn themselves outwardly with gold, pearls, costly apparel and the braiding of hairs.

These claims are highly sensationalized... Typical for fundamentalist in the field.
It appears that leading Scholars and archaeologists have written a peer review that disputes these claims. Which places Biblical archeology under circumspect.
