    The greatest man in history is Jesus Christ;
    He had no servants.yet they call him Master;
    He had no degree, yet they call him Teacher;
    He had no medicines,yet they call him Healer;
    He committed no crime,yet they crucified him;
    He was buried in a tomb, yet He Lives Today;

      Love his birth NAME (Hebrew) Yeshua (means God saves). We call our Creator Father/Abba just as Yeshua called Him Father. This is the relationship (personal) we have with HIM, just as Yeshua (His only Firstborn - of the living and the dead, begotten and beloved) had a personal relationship with our Father Creator the only living Elohim (Yahweh - God) who exists.

      To add to the thought. No other book comes close. Why? Because it's a inspired book of prophecy!. One scholar, J. Barton Payne, has found as many as 574 verses in the Old Testament that somehow point to or describe or reference the coming Messiah. Alfred Edersheim found 456 Old Testament verses referring to the Messiah or His times. Conservatively, Jesus fulfilled at least 300 prophecies in His earthly ministry. There are many more prophecies dealing with people, cities, nations etc, many of it's prophecies were foretold thousands of years in advance. No other book produced by man carries these credentials, not one! 😎✝️

      @Kellie Patrick this was no ordinary altar. “One for Israel” TH-cam channel explains in detail, but basically, pagan and other religious altars had steps going up, but Joshua’s altar is unique as it has a ramp going up. Also the Bible clearly stated the specific dimensions and materials that the altar should be made of, and it is exactly as described. Please don’t make the mistake of disregarding this important archeological discovery without first looking into it.

      @@ozztam You don't know if the altar was built, and then described in the bible; You don't know if it was later built, then called Joshua's Altar because it matched the description in the bible; You don't know if it was built later to MATCH the description in the bible...
      None of that is proof that any of the stories in the bible actually occurred, let alone that a divine entity played a role in otherwise normal human events of kings and slaves and wars....

If you come across a scripture you think is a contradiction, then its your misunderstanding. Continue to PRAY about it and study. God will reveal the meaning eventually (baby steps).
      I have a few scriptures I struggle with and it has been years. But then I see scriptures that is revealed within hours when I study the context. This is called seeking and it should never stop. You are looking for a treasure far better than what this world is offering.

      Did you find religion or salvation?
      Every single religion in the world requires you to do some works to obtain forgiveness and a way to Heaven. But the only way to get to God to Heaven is through faith alone, through trust in Jesus that He died for your sins and rose from the grave on 3rd day leaving your sins in the grave.
      Will you trust Him or yourself?
      The plan was set from very beginning that Jesus will come on the rescue mission for all those who will want His free gift of salvation.
      Grace is unmerited favor, you don’t pay for grace, you don’t earn the grace. All you have to do is receive it through faith.
      At the very beginning in God made that obvious
      Genesis 3:22 KJV
      “And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:”
      When do you put forth you hand?
      When you ask for something or you receive .
      Works have nothing to do with obtaining salvation.
      We will never be good enough. Only Jesus was enough to pay for out sins.
      Isaiah 64:6: “all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags” (KJV),
      We received Salvation only by our faith in what Jesus did on the cross not by what we do.
      God delights in our faith because we will be never good enough to earn our way to heaven.
      God wants us but He doesn’t really need us.
      All God wants from us is the fellowship.
      And we can love Him and serve Him because we truly want to not because we have to.
      The works are the fruit
      of our salvation.
      Not the root.
      Not the cause!
      SALVATION IS
      BY GRACE
      THROUGH FAITH
      ALONE.
      Devil instituted works,
      and gave us religions,
      instead of relationship
      with the Lord.

It doesn't because xray produced have a variety of energy levels, some high enough to have decent chance to get through lead. In every hospital around 4 times a year someone xrays all the lead vest to make sure there are no cracks or holes. (with normal xray machines). Now I'm sure this chunk of lead was imaged with some sophisticated machine, not a simple diagnostic xray machine. But yeah, we are lucky this was discovered now. The digital detectors are REALLY getting good. If this was analyzed just 40 years ago, they wouldn't be able to appreciate it.

    Just in case you are wondering "what" or "who" this curse tablet was cursing, just read the Book of Deuteronomy Chapter 11 verses 26-29. After god enabled the Hebrew people to take over the land, he gave the Hebrew people a "blessing" if they followed in his statutes and a "curse" if they failed to follow his statutes>
    26 "Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse
    27 A blessing if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day
    28 And a curse, if you will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other Gods, which you have not known..
    29 And it shall come to pass , when the Lord thy God hath brought you in unto the land where you go to possess it , that you shall put the blessing upon mount Gerizim and the curse upon mount Ebal"

    Israel Finkelstein, an archaeologist and professor emeritus at Tel Aviv University, who wasn't involved in the discovery, cautioned that there is a "big gap" between the description of the find on Mount Ebal and the claims of the researchers regarding the implications for biblical studies and archaeology.
    No detailed analysis of the claims would be possible until a scholarly article is published on the discovery, Finkelstein said; but he noted the curse tablet wasn't found in a clear archaeological context during an excavation, but in a pile of debris dating from an excavation in the 1980s.
    He also questioned the proposed dating, noting that comparison of the Mount Ebal site to other sites dated by radiocarbon analysis suggest it may date from the 11th century B.C. - perhaps two centuries or more later than what was claimed - and he suggested the decipherment of the inscription on the tablet could also be subject to interpretation.
    "In general, I am irritated by sensational claims of discoveries which ostensibly change everything that we know about the Bible and the history of ancient Israel," Finkelstein said.

The DDS are their own unique field of ongoing study in ancient literature giving insights into that ancient culture and daily life that we would never have known. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us-for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”- so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith.

    • @Damian.Williams
      @Damian.Williams 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Which law do you think is a curse my friend?...
      The curse of the law of sin and death...
      Or God's prefect law?..
      For I delight in God’s law after the inward man, but I see a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity under the law of sin which is in my members. What a wretched man I am! Who will deliver me out of the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ, our Lord! So then with the mind, I myself serve God’s law, but with the flesh, the sin’s law.
      Romans 7:22‭-‬25
      There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death. For what the law couldn’t do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh; that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace; because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God’s law, neither indeed can it be. Those who are in the flesh can’t please God.
      Romans 8:1‭-‬8

      @lilyw.719 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      if you listened to the video, a forgery was already ruled out. The inscriptions are on the inside of the tablet, and the tablet was impossible to open without destroying. It could only be read by thousands of internal laser scans, conducted in a special laboratory in Prague. It is impossible to forge something internally on a material that is so fragile that it can't even be opened without destroying it. It was next to impossible for the inscription to be recovered as it is. In a lot of ways, this tablet is similar to the copper Dead Sea scroll, which would be impossible to fake for the same reasons.

It has similar terrain as well. The main differences being the presence of trees (sparse) and smaller rocks. Takes me about 2 1/2 hours to summit Bell Mountain and about 3 hours back down. I'm thinking Mt. Ebal would take the same or less time to get to the top of. Mainly because it's not nearly as steep as Bell Mountain.

      [2]And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

    amazing discovery but more so that modern technology could see the age old writings without opening and destroying the lead pages.

    The fact that it is made out of lead makes me think about the woman in the ephah written in Zechariah that has the lead cover.

      @@harveywabbit9541 living in Alaska for the last 30 years, I can see their execration of the winter months. And truth be told Christmas is just a paganised “christianity” version of the saturnalia worship isn’t it? So if the lead is associated with Saturn then it could this be pointing to a particular prophetic meaning in the season?

      @@harveywabbit9541 I can’t argue the abuses on all sides. It surely is true we as humans are not good innately and are very selfish.
      I don’t know of anyone personally who is a humanist so I know little about it.
      Is humanism a philosophy rather than a faith?
      What is the main hope accepted in humanism after life ends? Is there a purpose for an individual here on earth? You use scripture as though it is valid, but do you accept the God of scripture as He is presented in the Bible, or do you use the Bible as a historical document only?
      If I’m exhausting you just let me know. I’m just curious to get an inside look rather than just read about humanism from Wikipedia.☺️

      @@harveywabbit9541 so kinda like it doesn’t really matter how you live life now because there is no reward or no punishment to come afterwards. Being good and nice just makes the life here and now more tolerable until we (body soul and spirit) rot back into the ground.
      For someone who used to struggle it’s depression and thought of suicide, there is no reason to worry about just ending it all then...
      Thank you for sharing.
      There is something inside of me that tells me it matters here.

      @@charliewhon6548 Please, please, please listen to that "something inside of you". The Holy Spirit is telling you that you matter,you are precious in the eyes of the God,
      Read Psalm 139
      You were wonderfully and fearfully made, woven in your mother's womb. There is only one of you, even if you are one of an identical twin!
      God loves you unconditionally.
      May God bless you and give you peace. Seek His face every day.
