God was merciful to Jim Caldwell and his family. What an INCREDIBLY STUPID thing to do to hit an Muslim man in the face and worse yet by a woman a foreign woman at that. Her Cajon temper could have cost their lives. Oh man I would try to be diplomatic and polite as possible to begin with, that whole situation would scare the heck out of me. I hope Jim had a serious and deep conversation with Penny and a don't you ever do anything like that again. Gee Whiz!

Well yall could start with where Ron Wyatt said he found it, he found everything else so I don't think he was lying about finding the ark,but maybe it's not time yet.

I personally don't trust Ron, I think he's a con man who's made most of the things he's "found" up. Lots of silly claims, like the ark of the covenant, the blood of Jesus, etc. He's been proven guilty of a lot of hoaxes, even by fellow Christian archaeologists who would love to have the proof of the things he's claimed in the past.
Meanwhile, I trust Patterns of Evidence, since they appear to be a much more up front, academic and professional team.

@@ProselyteofYah I just know what he did find, so I don't know why he would lie about finding one thing,I know what a person looks like when they are trying to keep from crying and that's a hard thing to fake

Pretty obvious that the site in Saudi Arabia is the true Mount Sinai, but the ark probably isn't there. If the ark is still on earth, the most plausible theory says it is buried somewhere in Egypt in a secret chamber (Raiders of the Lost Ark was based on this theory). In the official history of one of the Egyptian pharaohs, it says his army captured the ark and brought it back to Egypt. This is never discussed in the OT, so the only question is whether the Egyptian history is true or not.

@williamburroughs2273. What do you think about Jeremiah and other godly men hiding it in the caves under Golgotha to hide it from King Manasseh and the Babylonians?

@@mitchmiller7204 Honestly I have trouble with Ron Wyatt's account. His other work with Noah's Ark and the true Mount Sinai was superb, but his ark story is incredible in every sense of the word.

Yeah, I was really shocked and a bit mystified by that detail. That’s a bit of red flag behavior with anyone, let alone a Bedouin.

I agree. The apocryphal book, 2 Baruk chapter 6 (the scribe of Jeremiah) also tells us what happened to the Ark and other holy articles.
