They were surprisingly easy to open. As apposed to if you buy headphones now a days, you need to use high grade explosives and a chainsaw to open the plastic that they come in. Ah, simpler times!

I'm pretty sure opening consumer good packaging is an IQ test performed on humans by aliens, just like we test chimpanzees. As the average IQ of the population has risen in the past 30 years due to the Flynn effect, they therefore needed to increase the difficulty of the task. GameAddict51 Well for commercials and pictures they actually use special make ups and such to make the food look extra delicious. Every single commercial you ever watch will have the fakes. That's why you see a juicy burger on a commercial and come to the same place only to receive something dried out. For cereal I remember they use glue so the cereal stays on top of the "milk" due to the glues thickness instead of sinking down like cereal does in real life.
It takes too long to make the burgers look good and the point of fast food is, well, to get it fast. You can, however, ask for a better burger if you're not satisfied with it. Depending on your country, they may or may not have the right to say no, but most likely they will make you a new burger.

That's like getting a DeLorean in the 50s.
It’s a radio so it picks up radio signals. The signals beamed in the 80s have long since dissipated into space and contribute to earth’s radio sphere. However, the signals generated today have are brand new and are picked up by radios all over the world. So LGR isn’t so dumb to think this. However I’m not sure how this only plays 80s music unless LGR accidentally tuned in to only 80s radio stations

As a kid I remember having a weird Whopper shaped sponge for the bathtub. Nice to see that Burger King had all sorts of weird crap in the 80's.
Nothing says "hygiene" more than a sponge shaped like a greasy pile of fast food meat.
Maybe you could consider switching to doing burger related videos? I mean, I came for computers and video games but now that I've had a taste of burgers, I quite like it. Hoping for possibly more burger related videos in the future!

Every time I see the old foam and bent steel/plastic headphones, I'm reminded just how thankful I am that velour, pleather and silicone took over even on the low-end around the mid-aughts. Good lord did those things hurt after a while.

Say what you want about the quality of the headphones, but the package was brilliant. Actually openable without using japanese sword/flamethrower/chainsaw and hurting your hands, not like modern thief-resistant blister-type packages. Like come on, if you need a knife to open a knife/scissors package then something's wrong:D
I bought replacement saw blades, and on the end of the package were dots, so I poked my thumb trough them.... and directly to the new, sharp saw blades... Brilliant packaging, really.

very true!!!.i couldn't believe how awful beats really sounded when i tried some....i have a pair of Sony noise cancelling headphones that cost me £30 as my everyday set (about $24 us) and they sound INFINITELY better...you don't need to spend the earth do get decent sounding cans!!!

I had these! I loved the headphones, as they looked cool and sound was good enough for me ... I did appreciate the belt clip. The war pieces did get a bit of a pain on the ears, like you said. I would take this radio and headphones around town, listening to a commercially run AM classical station pretty much all the time (I was a bit of a strange little girl) which I remember foundly. Unlike the non-profit FM classical station that is our only classical fix on the local airwaves (broadcasting from Sac State, but run by NPR) there was no news or commentary that I can recall. Just music ... and commercials ... which was rather apt, given the tech I was using to listen to them.
Anyway, thanks for the review ... it brings back found memories. Oh, and the food was good back then ... better basic burgers than McDonald's... but I always preferred sesame or kaiser buns to what McDonald's used. Unfortunately, there really wasn't an equivalent to Happy Meal toys until the 90s, if I recall right... just the cardboard crowns, which you can still get.
