  • You can't keep them all - 50c Australian Book 9, Ep 2
    I find coins & I collect coins.
Australia has some of the best looking coins on the planet.
Join me as I noodle through Australian 50c pieces looking for our countries commemorative coins, rare coins and coins that can be worth more than face value.
I sort through 50 cent coins looking for all the commemorative coins issued for circulation since decimalisation in 1966
Watch and follow me as I attempt to complete a full set.
And if you want to support me, Buy me a coffee to help run the channel.

Where can I grab one of those cheat sheets?
You can get it from the Noodlers Site

A great hunt, additions & upgrades for your books Phil, the Tassie Fed coin was a very clean find, I did a 10 roll 50c hunt 2 days ago, my 1st in a while due to a lack of supply, a very dismal result, not one coin, but that's the luck of the draw. Cheers Peter J 😂✌💪👍

      Thanks Yoav,
      It is a problem,
I wonder what the Government & Banking industry is going to do about it.
Personally i don't think that it is a RAM issue, i don't think they have the mandate to do anything with the coins once they are sold into circulation.

Great hunt Phil. Really enjoyed that. I’ve decided to get the coin folders you’ve featured today. It makes more sense than how I’ve collated mine atm. 🤣

So may nice finds. Like the coin designs on 2000 Royal visit, 2016 change over with ram's head, 2019 Indigenous language, and of course the primary school design showing koalas. Way to go!

      Thanks Ogir.
The start of a new book is always the most interesting part of the hunt.
The rest can be a bit of a grind.

Oh, you should email me about the A Dollar discovery coin.
I saw the message that you left with the Superchat.

Hi Phil... Love your work, and have a question for you (....and readers, if they can help.) I have a stained, dirty coin that I would like to clean up. If it was a penny, I wouldn't worry about it, but it's a 1938 CROWN (but certainly coloured like a penny).. Any ideas????? NAPPISAN???........TARNOFF???...... I'll try anything, it's worth it...........Cheers.

    • @PhilFindsCollects
      @PhilFindsCollects  18 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Ah John,
I would NOT recommend attempting cleaning that.
If it was a non key date penny then there is no value to wipe off.
But a 38 crown has significant value that can be destroyed by cleaning.

@@PhilFindsCollects Thanks, Phil... I wouldn't dream of a hard scrub, or using a scourer, but was thinking more along the lines of soaking in something....or some form of steam-cleaning. Any other thoughts??

Hi Phil where can I get the book from? Post office sells it?

      Hi Tommy.
Personally i haven't seen the New book that i am using at the Post office.
I have seen the VST book that i have used in some Post offices
It depends on the Individual Post Master and what they stock.
Like i said in one of my Videos, i got this one at Thompson coins.
They still have some in stock online.
But other physical shops and online retailers also sell these book.

@@PhilFindsCollects thanks Phil, I found 2 more NIFC $1s tonight, a mint condition Wiggles and an Australian Bushrangers.
Seriously, you sure you don't want me to send you some Qld rolls? I can get both Prosegur and Armaguard, I have no doubts you'd get a big swoop, and maybe even a change over $1, remember it was only 9 months ago I Noodled a 2012 red poppy from a small 10 X $2 roll hunt
