Recording Artist here! My engineer set me up a template and it's been lit. Learning more about audio engineering is so golden for me right now. appreciate these videos!
@@MyAudioAcademy I've been writing songs for about two-ish years. I haven't really produced any; I want to though, which is why TH-cam recommended me your video. If you want to collaborate/help out, let me know!
I have a question about sends and aux tracks and buses. Do I just need 1 vocal bus for all vocals? Cause what if I dnt want all vocals to have the same bus...?
You can add multiple. An great example of this is how Maddox treated 21 Savage vocals and J.Cole in this video. th-cam.com/video/LbkoXXHDz30/w-d-xo.htmlsi=p0eW8JSVk5bmNuSy
When I'm recording someone, I normally ask for their preference. Some clients prefer it while recording so they can hear how it's going to sound, others want to completely bypassed because it throws them off. My recommendation is to experiment with both, and go with whichever you feel allows you to get your best performance 👍🏼
I use the tc helicon voicelive play for autotune and it sounds incredible... I'm gonna see if I can configure it this way, if not, autotune it is because this sounds CLEAN too!!!
Make sure you tell people to hit the subscribe and like button at end of video, it's help people get the real sauce. I hit like on every video I see of yours, hope you getting paid and so it can be your full time job YouTubing, and one day I hope you can work on one of my songs.
New sub!!! Where have you been for the last few years? I’ve needed your information and services desperately!! 🤣I just had a review of my music from a pretty in demand working “industry “ mix engineer like u, and it was exactly what I thought, im real solid as far Subjective production is concerned he said im there, been there, but Objectively I suck! Lol but thats where I’m falling short. Unfortunately I kinda knew already tho🤷♂️🤣anyway thank you for doing this content! I’m looking forward to bingeing your channel later on. 🫡
In the trenches (studio) 😂 I knew I wanted to eventually teach what I was learning, because I knew there would be others who had the same roadblocks/setbacks. Glad to hear the trainings have been helpful for you!

Hey I’m a R&B male singer. Would u recommend that I have auto tune on when I’m recording or should I put it on after?

I can't get this to produce that heavy autotune effect that is so popular. Maybe I need to artificially get out of key while recording the vocals?
Can you do a Gunna template in protools?
Here ya go!
