    Loved the ruins. And yes, I agree that the 3rd senote was the best. Loved the opening that let in the light.

    Ha loved the intro! I also enjoyed visiting the cenotes when I go to Mexico and there are so many to choose from. That ride was a little bumpy on that bus. I think I still need to visit Mayapan - going to add that to my next trip itinerary.

    • @AdventuresOfATravelingDon
      @AdventuresOfATravelingDon  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's easily overlooked since most head to Chichen-Itza. Fun fact after Chichen-Itza fell Mayapan was the next city built.

    I may have been to one of the same cenote in 2019!!!! The jump was fabulous ( we got partly down on a rope n then jumped ) but the fall gave me the worst headache ever!!!! And the water was cold even in September!!! I can imagine how awesome your experience must have been!!!!

    • @AdventuresOfATravelingDon
      @AdventuresOfATravelingDon  ปีที่แล้ว

      Might've been a different Cenote. Although probably not too far. I don't remember any of these having a rope to climb down to a drop. Still any Cenote is fun.

    What's the term for fear of deep water? Thalassophobia? That's exactly what I felt watching this video. So glad I can experience through your videos, I don't think I could do it on my own!

    • @AdventuresOfATravelingDon
      @AdventuresOfATravelingDon  ปีที่แล้ว

      Did not know that was the term name. It can be a bit intimidating at the beginning when you first look into the depths. However, seeing so many others in there I'm like, "well if there is anything in there I have a 1/50 chance of being eaten 😂"

    so gotta say sir, very disappointed that you didn't proceed to the underworld and show us what it was like there. Otherwise though great video, full of info as always! :) Happy New Year!
