Thank you tammy! That looks so good ...yum 😋
I'm definitely going to make that and I'm going to serve it with cheese grits!!
I don't know why lately probably bcz I'm struggling financially ..but I've been loving me some grits!
Like to make my grits with milk & water
bcz they come out really creamy.
And my Moma taught me to cook the heck out of 'em
so they puff up like 🍿 seriously ..I cook them for like an hour.
& I like to "doctor em up"
(did your mama use that term too?) w/spices
& I put cream cheese in it too LOL instead of butter (it's actually healthier)
    & who doesn't luuuv
    cream cream cheese!!!!😋
PS I'll be darn'd if you can't carry tune! My goodness WoW ..you have a beautiful voice Tammy!
I see you have many talents,
you can cook, you're beautiful, you're gifted songbird , you have the ability to emulate our perfect southern hospitality✨🕊️
Which is why you have so many subscriber!

We’ve always said things like “you might have to doctor it up a little bit” or “I doctor’d it up a little bit and it tasted a whole lot better !” Nothing wrong with our southern talkin!

I agree with you about the cast iron skillet. My grandma used to say a cast iron skillet is good for every meal from breakfast to dinner, and she also made skillet desserts. She said it was also useful for threatening misbehaving children, and waking your husband upside the head when he came home late drunk!! My grandmother was about 5' tall, and had 12 children. Everyone of them felt love from her, but knew not to cross her!!

Easy way to drain beef-place a paper towel in a glass bowl than add ice cubes drain the grease over the ice! The fat becomes a solid! Easy clean up! I cannot wait to try this recipe!

Just before watching this beef pot pie recipe I watched Eddie make prime rib. It looked so delicious I was drooling but then I came to Tammy making this beef pot pie. I literally could taste it. That is my kind of eating. I'm not able to cook these days but when we I can beef pot pie is the 1st thing that I am making. Doesn't look too difficult. I really enjoyed watching you make it Tammy. Thanks to Chris and Tammy.

I use left over roast in mine! I take from fridge while its cold n cut it in small chunks or either use stew beef or cut up a steak n ground beef! I put alot of onion in mine also! Can't ever get enough onion. Lol. Its so easy to make n taste like you been cooking for 2 days! Lol. I make a pan of biscuits so I can sop up the gravy! Lol. My mama would add peas sometimes but thats one that I just don't like! Never like sweet peas! Any other ones I eat like crazy! I've also used biscuit dough to make my crust. Just roll them out like a biscuit n put all in the pan n dump everything in on them! My kids, grandkids, n great grandbabies absolutely love it that way! Let the biscuits cook good n crunchy on the outside! They lord Tammy, that is so delicious! They don't get soggy either! Mama taught me well....Lord how I miss her n my Grannys! Soon tho, I'll get to see them when I go home! 🙏💖 Thank you n Chris for all your great recipes! We both cook the same! Like our Mamas did! Love y'all n God Bless...🙏🙏💖💙

Omgoodness, Tammy ❣️ I cannot wait to make this beef pot pie 🥧. It looks amazing and sounds absolutely delicious 😋. As a side note, I followed your link and purchased this deep cast iron pan you used for this recipe. I can’t wait for it to arrive. I had cast iron frying pans 🍳 at one time, in 3 different sizes, but for the life of me I can’t find them. So I guess I’m starting a new collection! Is the short sided skillet that you cooked the asparagus on, the lid that comes with the deep skillet for just a few extra dollars? Thank you for this delicious recipe and thank you for being you. You are amazing ❣️

You ingredient not that flashed on the screen said 1/8 of a cup of the peppers. 1/8 of a cup is 2 tablespoons (16 T in a cup, hence 1/4 = 4 T, hence 1/8 cup = 2 T) That was way more than 2T you put in the fry pan with the ground beef. Also, I would be using my homemade beef broth rather than boullion cubes or granules (too much salt). In fact, I have often resorted to using my homemade chick bone broth in place of beef ..... and by the time the dish is cooked, no one can tell I have used chicken bone broth in stead of beef.

Tammy, do you have a recipe for making a pork shoulder in the oven? A low and slow 8 hour cook? I have been wanting to try one since a friend of mine said her SIL makes them in the oven with just salt and pepper instead of on the grill outside. Pork Shoulder is still fairly reasonable in price.
