you are the best man .. i upgraded from p40 pro plus to honor magic 5 pro .. trust me p40 pro plus has more natural colors with much more premium selfie camera (yet narrow field) and better zoom at 10x .
Nice comparison! Just wanted to point out that the magic 5 pro has a super macro mode which lets you use the phone almost like a microscope. It can focus 2.5cm away from the object which is quite impressive
Any issues wint the lens flare for the Magic 5 Pro? They say when taking pictures or recording videos at direct sunlight a rainbow appears. Is it a big deal?

Actually I have used both. Though neither really fulltime. Always used linux Maemo, Meego, BB10, SailfishOS and then HarmonyOS. A bit of Android lately because of all the phones I test. Don't like vanilla Android though.
Honor (Huawei) is back! This is a real beast. ..probably getting it instead of s23u that i planned. ..and not just cause of cameras, the battery is apparently the best ever.

I can confirm the battery is a beast!! I've had it for 2 months and use it daily for videos / photos and browsing and i've still got 50% in the tank at the end of the day!, The only downside is finding a decent case for it, I like my flip cases sturdy ones like Mulbess make, cant find any tho, and i've given up trying to put a screen protector on! Tempered glass or a film TPU one! Curved displays are a nightmare to apply!
The X in Xiaomi is always a challenge to western people. In Asian countries, the X is treated as S. So Xiaomi is pronounce as See-ow (one syllable) Me. That being said, the 13 Pro's audio is too noise filtered for my liking.

Magic 5 Pro is not sharper. It has no resolve detail. It uses watercolor filter + denoise + sharpen. Looks really bad. I rahter have the smooth look from Xiami 13 pro.
@@lltechview it's a new device but it delivers with its hardware and software it can't be a dslr camera only just after launch. Me to watched couple of videos ultra wide photos and videos are so sharp with details also those telephoto lense and periscope lense are a game change compared to s23 ultra and the variable aperture i liked it to the upgrade of the 3 sensors from imx 582 to 852 it's a big change also they added usb 3.2 for fast transfers i think the device is completed not perfect but full package with few updates it will fix those small details which are only age detection rest is not a big deal they'll fix it with one software update Audio i watched a video yesterday vs s 23 ultra audio of xiaomi 13 ultra is out of this world speakers deliver a pure clean and clear sound and balanced also i noticed that s23 ultra has a noise in sound and not balanced like 13 ultra why don't get the device and review then compare it to devices you already hyped and tell us it's overhyped device? Even with overclocked sd 8 gen 2 13 ultra got big score than s23 ultra with miui 14 it's fast stable ui without any bugs or problems seen on miui 12.5 or 13

13pro has excellent night video the honor is overall better? 13pro $900 used magic 50 pro $700 both crippled wait for the magic 50 pro ultimate + & of course the13 ultra but the P60 pro is looking very interesting " could be" better than the 1" the 13 night was very good though
I have seen reviews of the p60 pro and is not very good sadly and no p60 pro plus/ ultra just an p60 art... With no substantial camera upgrades just mainly funky design and higher price

As you can see in my shots here I did not notice that in particular as a "big deal". Yeah it happens. So does with other phones and cameras aswell.

Leica Authentic not so much. Honor definitely a bit.
Honor is more polished, takes good detailed pictures in any situation.
