- Over in Los Angeles, Dagan takes a tour of Schecters Custom Shop in Sun Valley with Adam Murphy, Schecter's Artist Relations legend! This ladies & gentlemen, is where the magic happens!
Not only are guitars prototyped here, but this is where artists get their custom guitars built! From Synyster Gates & Zack Vengeance, all of Princes final guitars were built here (Which you'll see!) Zakk Wylde's Wylde Audio gear, DJ Ashba, Nick Johnson, Machine Gun Kelly, Jerry Horton, Keith Merrow and so many more!

This tour given by Adam was awesome, everyone so friendly and knowledgeable.
As someone who did basic woodworking making cutting boards and clocks with laminated woods, checkerboards, stripes, etc., I can honestly say that custom work is AMAZING.

Agree , iv'e owned 4 , but i have 2 now. The Omen Extreme and the Damien , they along with Ibanez make the best metal guitars IMO!

Love the video, love the tour...and to actually get to hold Prince's guitar, I have to say that I am so envious of you. Hopefully soon I'll be getting my hands on a Schecter bass - just started learning and I've got my eyes set on an Omen Extreme-4, so I'm working hard to become worthy enough to play one! 🤘
Excellent video and as a massive prince fan I think I'd be as in awe as Dagan clearly was....amazing. Owning a few schecters myself I think they're an amazing company from the affordable to the top of the line, everything is amazing quality.

God, I've wanted a Schecter for a couple years now and after watching this I want one even more!! I've started saving up for one, but being on disability makes that a painfully slow process!! I'll get there one day, though!! LOL
i recommend the nick johnston hss model very versatile and affordable and comes in cool colors and in a lefty version
Think about a used one , you can find some pretty good deals. Or you can buy a C1 , they're affordable , honestly with Schecter's just like Ibanez you can find quality built guitars in all budget ranges....
I have a custom shop schecter and its surprising how they are not more known for their custom shop work. The guitar I have is immaculate.

Thanks for the video - I have asked a few people what's up with the USA shop lately and haven't got much in return, so it's pretty timely for me.
I was hoping to see more about basses, maybe even some of Michael Anthony's specs - he has sig models but he's got to have some custom shop builds.
Schecter are making some of the best looking, best playing guitars at the moment!

@@mikeg.9238 Totally! I have an old Schecter, one of their "cheap" models, fit and finish is great, it plays as well my Fender Strat. Cannot fault it in any way. The new Schecters are stunning!

it's weird to me when i hear someone say he was a great guitarist. To me he was average at vest.
