As a plant main, I can say that the intangibility frames on it’s stem during the down B are nigh nonexistent I have never seen them work while in a match Also, the up B is actually weirdly consistent if you aren’t moving side to side
As a fellow plant main, I think one of the most hilarious things they forgot to mention is that with down B, if your opponent hits the head while extended it just abruptly shoots it back and acts like you got hit wherever the pot is. Best moment of that was using it offstage and getting spiked as a result
(1:40) It looks like the lips' hurtboxes do extend a bit outside the head's hurtbox, but just slightly normally. But it is much more significant when he opens his mouth, then the lips are outside what the head's hurtbox can cover.
Generally speaking, whenever the backside of a down smash is stronger it's because it comes out after the forward part of the move. Basically it's to award landing a hit with the part of the move that had takes longer to come out.

Can you discuss about Sonic's hitbox? Since there is currently so much un-necessary hate for the character. Of course he and other characters need a complete revamp of their moveset. I still think that there are good things they have improved somewhat for Sonic. Improving his homing attack, and more attacks without him turning into a ball.
I forget if you mentioned it in the video or not, but I think the reason he has intangibility on his lips is because during one of the patches, they gave intangibility to a bunch of characters to their shield animations, because some of them poked out of their full shields. Plant was one of those characters.
Robin's Ridiculous hitboxes. Also, when talking about a certain move, it would help if the clip you used while talking about that move was playing, or demonstrating it. I was looking for an Up Air combo while you were talking about the Up Air itself.
You should do one on mii swordfighter. His frame 5 dtilt has a bigger hitbox than his forward smash, his up air and dair are ridiculously large, his up smash doesn't work, and some of his moves have hitboxes that seem really unintuitive and strange.

8:30 what is the point of 50% heavy armor? Including fully charges smash attacks, there are probably less than 10 moves in the game that can break that. Why, Sakurai, do you not just give the move super armor?
9:14 I don't think they would have programmed him any differently if he was part of the fighters pass. I'm not sure if you noticed but they seem to be _trying_ to balance the game as much as possible, so if anything DLC aren't _intentionally_ being made any better than a normal Character.
Having the back hit of a down smash be stronger is actually quite common. Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Snake to name a few. Wolf is one of the few with a stronger front hit.
Her spike ball isn’t a projectile. It’s considered a part of plant. If plant is keeping it in the air you can counter it and it will hit her. Also game and watch can’t absorb it. So it’s in a weird place in between
I get the feeling that the backswing of a Down Smash being stronger than the front swing is Nintendo's idea of punishing a bad roll, though that doesn't explain why only a small few characters actually feature that hitbox oddity.
Can I request a post final patch updated version of this? I know it's not too different for plant, but I like the video and just want more plant content
