Much better if that 2025 Land Cruiser Prado LC250 has the 2.8 turbo diesel engine with 221 horsepower and 550 Nm torque like in the 2024 Toyota Fortuner and Hilux GR-S variant and mated with a new 8-speed direct shift automatic transmission so that will be the best option compare to the 2.4 turbo gasoline engine that is only available in the Philippines.
Except for the front grille which is a recycled one from the previous version, I think this one hits all my checklist for an SUV.

In Europe and the USA its known as the Land Cruiser 250 however it's still known as the Land Cruiser Prado in countries that the Land Cruiser 300 existed
This is cool for the new prado and this is a special tribute to an paris olympic winner
You forgot to show us the head up display but overall it's a great car for offraoding especially how the it's a ladder frame design plus equipped with stabilizer disconnect and lastly this cars computer will make sure you wont have a hard time or get stuck in the mud easily
Based on the price, these new Prados must be made at non-ASEAN factories, as there is clearly a 40% tax on the price. US versions start at 3.3 million vs 4.8 million for PH.

Sadly, cars in PH are more expensive than in the US and Canada. PH has one of the most expensive cars in the world, but not the most which belongs to Singapore. Here in PH, Toyota Camry is a price for rich people while in the US, it's just an average joe's car. A European once told me that in Europe even in Western Europe, even poor people and those who are jobless could buy BMW.
@fionajarnefeldt1024 Not all PH cars, only those made outside of ASEAN factories which have a 40% tariff that make them expensive. The Ranger Raptor for example is substantially cheaper in the Philippines than the US. Price for a 24' Raptor in the US is 3.3 mil while in the PH it's 2.4 mil. Yes ours don't get the V6 gas, but the diesel isn't that much cheaper of an engine. Most comparable ASEAN produced cars are cheaper in the PH than the rest of the Western World, such as the Corolla.

@@gpaje maybe the Ranger Raptor is an exception.
The Corolla hybrid's SRP in the USA starts at $23,500 while in PH, it costs ₱1,730,000 or $30,236.83, the Corolla is also made in Thailand and so is the Camry.
Very exited and been waiting for this all new Prado . I’m not disappointed on the way they have done from the last version . Though it’s pricier this time and will bore a deep hole sa bulsa 😅😊

This Prado is a huge improvement over the previous Prados Toyota PH brought. I wish Toyota puts its 2.4L I4 turbopetrol engine in a Fortuner though, even if it's just a gas variant of the Fortuner GR-S.
That would be great for the fortuner, but the price would definitely go up.

Design of the Exterior is a mix of Toyota FJ Cruiser and Toyota Hilux Surf.
The engine noise of the LC Prado sounds like a Hybrid.
Most LC here in the PH never really maximized their capabilities.

Well, we don’t know how he’s full background. But Carlos Yulo could be more capable on owning this, considering he also received lots of monetary awards from different sectors.
He can always sell this if he wish

Worse grille, no paddle shifters, boring color options, no hybrid system with 6-7 seats configurations like China version. At this point, Toyota is disrespecting ASEAN/AUS market, hope they don't bring this version to Vietnam, we are literally next to China why not give us that Chinese version.

Unfortunately, none.
These days, it's rare gas 4 & 6 cylinder turbos have engine covers. Such as almost all of Toyotas new range of gas turbos & Fords EcoBoost. They get in the way of service and there's really no need.
