Hi Brian - I've been going through your videos and I love the sound. I was wondering what sources you use to replicate the various singing styles people would have employed in Anglo-Saxon times. Are there contemporary treatises or descriptions available? Thanks. Keep it up!
The thumbnail are Crwth"s (I beleive that's what they are called) it's a Brythonic (Welsh) instrument found at Sutton Hoo. Oh yeah, that was British not Saxon. Metal bolts used in the Boat, not Wooden Dowls. The Latin insription on the spoons, which also had Christian symbolism (English wouldnt be Christian for a while after it was created). The Musical instrument as I mentioned. The Helmet which has a Star of David and a very Brythonic looking mustache. The story of gilgamesh on the purse of which the the Saxons weren't Aware of. Shall I continue?
I'm honored that you sing and play as my family once heard over a thousand years ago. How could you be so good? I'll have to buy the album!
Bought! Want to buy twice! Stunning!

A true masterpiece, gentlemen!
So exciting!
Thank you, it seems very promising what I could hear here!
My favourites all in one album this was a nice surprise. This was pretty much my reading playlist before!
Glad to see you convinced Robert Baratheon to do an album with you.
