I got the THP branded one. I would wait for the next generation which I’m sure would be built into a stabilizer with better vibration dampening. I might try to attach to stabilizer with some heat shrink tubing in the meantime. This device also might cause you to have to invest in a back bar if you don’t already have one. Change one thing, change everything. Any other suggestions from the manufacturer are welcome and appreciated.
The key is to make sure you are compressing the foam provided in the kit between the bottom of the mount and your stabilizer. The other key is to make sure you are using a hard plastic phone case; do not use soft rubber or silicone as it allows there to be slop which is seen in the footage. The newer the phone you have the better the footage is going to be due to improvements in camera technology, obviously.

What about using no case at all and attaching the plate to the back of the phone?
