Bahia Agates were an unexpected beauty!

- I purchased some Bahia agates from therockshed.com a few months ago and began the process of tumbling. I unearthed surprisingly rich earth tone beauty in these stones.

These really showed the detailed tunbled! The one with the cavity is exceptional! These rocks look awesome in the raw too.
It's sometimes tough to decide if I can improve a stone by polishing it. This batch I might not have if I hadn't been so determined to tumble them for the sake of tumbling.
Bahia's are one of my favorites! Love the polished bunch! All so great!

The banding and colors in 8:42 is awesome ! Oh wow the eyes in 10:19 are very nice ! They all are awesome. Got to love that shine 👍😊

These are the very first type of agate I tumbled, let's say it was an eye opening experience. They can be very beautiful and they don't fracture easy. I have cut open a lot of them and found banding. Cool stuff.
Good to know about cutting them open. I was wondering what I would find if I did. Sometimes it's obvious there's banding inside, but it's hard to tell with these.
@@kengensjewelry I have found if you cut the same directions as the bands they go into the stone, sometimes not all the way through. Maybe you will get lucky and find a different set going the other way.

I like my Rocks Natural. I prefer All of it, My opion is if you Tumble Away the Holes and what have you. One has Altered The Beauty of the Natural Creation By THE CREATOR. But we all have Choices that’s The Beauty Of The Lord!!!
